That is a question for a Optometrist, go see one. I would have thought with eye sight like that you would have talked to specialists quite a lot already and they would have given you all the details.

I have had bad vision from a very young age and worn glasses almost all of my life 14 years of 17, I walked into door frames and got horrible headaches. So as someone with long term eyesight issues I too find it difficult to see (sorry no pun intended ) Why you haven't gone to an opticians earlier in your life? With eyesight as poor as you say yours is doing day to day tasks would be very difficult let alone reading at school. So here's my advice, go to an opticians as soon as possible and get it sorted, it will help with life no end 👍 I have friends with glasses with only one lens in so its definitely a possibility for you to get something like that for your vision

I'd call up child services and have them give your parents a bollocking for not having you given the proper treatment earlier...
