Which should I get?

I take it both are the same spec wise.
Can I use both can be used Ferrari F1 seasonals.

I like the F10 more and beat some people online with it who said the 2007 was better
=> get both :D

Easy Money is still achievable through the Spa B-spec Seasonal (4million for 27minutes) and the A-Spec-Seasonal at Madrid (650pp race 430k without online bonus => 860k if 200%).

Do like me, spam the Spa B-spec online seasonal race and get both (ends tomorrow so you should hurry).

I just want one for now.

Something about the F10 doesn't look right to me.

They left out the barcode if I by the looks of it.

The Ferrari F1 seasonal has gone so they're wont be much use in game. :(

F2007 is easier to win races with, the F2010 just doesn't handle as well for some reason, it's noticeable but not a huge difference in performance

I'd have to say the F10. After having a championship race using the Ferrari F1 cars, a field of 9 F10's and F2007's. After 3 ten lap races at Indy road, I took all the races by more than 2 seconds in the F10 (12 seconds in one race). Tuned right and driven right, The F10 can dominate.

The F2010 is better in corners, the F2007 is better in straights. But for me I prefer the F2010 more. And as everyone else said the F2010 can easily dominate the 2007 if driven properly. I have both models but I haven't compared them yet. Too bad the F1 Seasonal is gone :(

The F10 is the better looking car IMO but the difference is negligable. F2007 is slightly quicker on most (but not all) tracks.

From my understanding, the F2007 regulations and specs are slightly greater than the the the F10. I've only driven the F2007 as I got it from a level 24 ticket (talk about lucky) and I have a blast with it! In my opinion though, both the F2007 and F10 can hold each other's presence, in other words, they are very competitive with each other depending on mostly on the driver. So it really doesn't matter, especially if your running against the A.I. here.

Yes, you can use both in any Ferrari F1 spec races.

I can also tell you this much. Both the F2007 and F10 are better than the FGT (Formula GT) hands down, fun wise at least! I can run the F2007 without TCS using the DS3 controller on Racing Hards!

Fox, shoot me a message in case you want to test them. I've shared both of them anyway.

If by better you mean easier to drive then you have a good point.

Yeah, the Ferrari F1 cars are easier to drive. The problem I have with the FGT is it is less stable as it isn't bound to the same regulations and rules of the F1 cars (hence Formula GT), sort of similar to the Redbulls, but in an entirely different league. The Redbulls are much more stable, but that's off topic now. I can race the FGT, but it's just not as fun as the Ferrari. They were definitely easier to drive in GT4 from what I remember.

Mr S, Thanks but that is not needed.

I'll get the F1 2007 first then will get the F10 when I get an extra 13 mill.

You can win the cash in The Spa Seasonal in about an hour....

Spa? Dude, please. I had 3 of each before online events were even introduced.

;)

Theorically, F2007 should be faster because it is not limited due to FIA F1 regulations as the F10 is (no aerodynamic parts, smaller rear wing...).
According to this, F2007 should be better in corners because it has more aerodynamic parts, and F10 in straights.
But this is not clear, is difficult to say, it depends on how you tune it, the PPs and handling could vary a lot.
For me, there is a decisive reason why it's better F10 #8, it was driven by Fernando Alonso :)

The FGT lost a lot of downforce for GT5 (something to do with the F1 cars introduction I think :D)

Well I was about to get the F1 2007 but what I would call a sign stood in the way.

The 2J came into the UCD for 14.4mill and I had to get it.

Just trade for a level 24 ticket.. that's how i got mine. that thing is crazy 👍

I bought the 2010 one because I thought it was better (since it's newer and more expensive if I'm not mistaken), although afterwards I think the F1 2007 is better.

I got the 2007 of a level 24 ticket though.

Cue the OCD getting a 0 mile 2J in the next update :)

I liked the 2007 better, can't say why though. :dunce:

F2007 for me...

The F10 somehow loses to the F2007 in case of handling, it's easier to spun when exiting corners (a longer wheelbase, maybe?)
and the F2007 has a wider view (with driver camera), compared to the F10.

Um, no. The FGT outperforms the F1's hands down. It has everything needed to beat either of the Ferrari's at any track. Provided you know how to set it up that is, and that's the trick to it all. Without a good setup on the FGT the Ferrari's will dominate.

A few friends and I raced against each other at Tokyo R246 a couple weeks ago, a couple in FGT's, a couple in F1's. The FGT's ruled the day. The only way the F1's could even get close to catching, much less passing, the FGT's was in the two sweeping corners, but by the time we got back onto the straights the FGT's were gone again. (yes, there's a glitch in the game to allow this).

As for the OP's question, the F2007 is arguably the faster of the two cars. I prefer it over the 2010.

Doh! You'd have had more fun with the F1 2007. The 2J isn't all that great of a car to drive. Much of the hype online here is just that, hype. But you'll figure that out for yourself I rekon. Enjoy!
