2023 was 7/10, 2024 - 6/10. 2025 will get when there is going to be a 50% discount 1-2 months from now:-)
It won't quite be that, but near enough based on the price trends from last year

It was October 9th before it hit a 50% off deal on the PlayStation Store (was a day earlier on Steam) - there were a couple of 40% off-ish sales from mid July though.

It's been reported via an insider that EA have activated the 2 year extension on the F1 license deal.

I know some will disagree with me, but this is the best thing for the series right now. F1 '25 has had a fantastic start to life, made excellent improvements across the board and with more lidar tracks coming, brand new cars next season with new engine suppliers and more, it gives me confidence and optimism that the next few games will keep going in the right direction.
Just saw this - a quick retraction!

So no one really knows what's going on?!

2023 was not really that good. Granted, better than 2024. Lets see what happens in the next 2-3 months. The way it was patched in 2024 was the main problem, not the product at the launch date

6th place in the EU chart. Nowhere in the US top 20. The big American focus in real-life still hasn’t broken through to gaming.
There just isn't as much interest here in F1. No matter how much they try to make it look so. There's a lot of racing that goes on in our country and a lot of it being more entertaining than F1 has been in years.

Bit of both, 2023 was pretty decent overall, definitely the best since 2020 although not better. 2024 was just below average from launch, irrespective of the patching, it wasn't good. It did some things well and obviously the patching didn't help but it wasn't good from day 1.

I'd imagine the sports game area has more competition too. Madden, College Football, NHL and The Show probably take up loads of "player time" in that space?

For what it's worth, I'm a huge fan of The Show and I usually get NHL every 2 years as well, and I can get lost in them for hours upon hours! Still waiting for that elusive indycar game though.... Or a good NASCAR one!

Is this a good result? Do not know the benchmark

Keep in mind that the game released at the very end of the month. June might be a better indicator but it charting in Europe with 3 days of data is strong.

I'm gonna ditch my strict 'play career through year by year' policy I think and skip a few seasons for this one. It just looks like a major step in the right direction. My current career is just starting 2023 but maybe I took a two year break to be a test driver or try Le Mans or chase a career in rap music or something.

You had a bike accident, hurt your hand and couldn't drive for 2 years. That'll work 👍

How did you find the AI traction in the wet race? I read that the AI have far too much traction in the wet and I just tested it at Barcelona and found that there is an issue as they were pulling away as if it was a dry race.

Almost the opposite, went from last to 9th in 2 laps after the red flag restart. A touch too easy.

I just did a great race at Spain in the dry but there is still something going on with the AI speed out of somer corners. It may even be an issue with the player car and maybe the traction is off a bit for the player rather than the AI.

Possibly, the car at the start of MyTeam if you choose no development is an absolute dog.

Question: can you do full replays like in GT7 or it is still the same random cuts?
If this title is anything like the previous ones, there is the option to watch a full replay as well as short highlight version (Featuring all the fancy jump cuts, close ups and slow motion shots).

Sadly I just can't get to grips with this on pad, and for various reasons a wheel is not an option these days. Too twitchy, struggling with the brakes, just like my issues with previous editions. Thankfully it was just the trial but it's a sad pass for me.

The game does look and run fantastically, especially on the Pro. Way too many menus & distractions though, I just want to drive.

I've bought this and put in maybe ten hours so far I think. I'm looking forward to running a full season or career, so far have been doing single races testing out the AI levels and so on.

And it's good....in the same way F1 23 felt good, probably slightly ahead of 24 granted but it's still fundamentally the same experience so I'm a bit regretting going in expecting this massively transformed experience because it's just not. The novelty wears off very quickly because it just 90% of the time feels and looks like the same thing as the last one. But I feel like with these F1 games it's that last 10% that makes all the difference - what made F1 2020 so satisfying to handle or 2022 so awkward. Tiny tweaks one way or the other that make or break the experience - and I do feel like this is one where they've probably on the right side of that line, aside from the weirdness in the wet that hopefully they'll patch properly.

8/10 so far, a bit twitchy on controller and lacking that fluid feel that made 2017 or 2020 stand out to me - but probably the next best. The remodelled circuits are great too. Surprising how different they can feel.

I downloaded and raced F1-25 a couple of days ago, and overall, I'm impressed. 8 out of 10 for me too.

I used to race My Team in previous Titles a lot, ...but in F1-25 there's just too many management activities for my liking, so I'm happily racing Driver Career mode with Visa Racing Red Bulls.

I use a Wheel in Cockpit view, and I love how the AI seem to be a bit more challenging when racing. The AI don't appear to be dirty (like the 90s & early 2000s AI), ...just firm(er), but fair.

Race starts appear to be more realistic too. I see some AI go into anti-stall, others spin their wheels, so they don't all have the perfect getaway from lights-out anymore.

The use of the Safety Car, VSC, and Red Flags continue to be unrealistic; ...just like the previous 2-years. I saw Russell have an engine failure and stopped in a very precarious position just right of the racing line exiting Turn 2 at Albert Park, and there was no Safety Car, no VSC, just a yellow flag as the whole pack dodged and sped passed him.

I am yet to race in the rain. I hated the 22, & 23 rain and superior AI speed, and I thought that it was fixed for 24 (well, ...I had no issues with it last year), but I have read that the AI are unrealistically quick (again) in the rain in the 25 Title.

In summary, I'm enjoying the Driver Career mode very much, and I'm looking forward to a lengthy career experience, as I move teams and progress the seasons 👍

According to Nielsen Sports, Formula 1 now has a global fanbase of 826.5 million, an increase of 90 million over the 2023 season. In the U.S., the market increased by +10.5% over 2023 adding nearly 90 million new fans. That follows a +10.5% growth in the market to 52 million fans between 2023 and 2024.
A better comparison is looking at how the races compare to previous editions, which offers a much more favourable view of Formula One’s current position. In that context, the 2025 average of 1.04 million viewers is the highest on record.

Indeed, every race this year has recorded double-digit percentage increases over the 2024 editions: Australia (104.4 per cent), China (31.6 per cent), Japan (10.3 per cent), Bahrain (14 per cent) and Saudi Arabia (58.7 per cent).
While Nascar was once again the most-watched motorsport in the US over the weekend, Formula One and IndyCar will be encouraged to find the audience gap closing.

Formula One set an event record for the Spanish Grand Prix with an average of 1.17 million viewers on ESPN. That is now back-to-back event records for the series after the Monaco Grand Prix averaged the third-largest US audience ever.

This continues to be Formula One’s best-ever season for viewership in the US through direct race-by-race comparisons, and the 2025 average of 1.33 million viewers only marginally trails the series’ previous year-to-date (YTD) high of 1.34 million set in 2022.

The data doesn't agree so much & the noted viewership decline on certain tracks compared to 2023 & 2024 are likely attributed to a changed schedule. But, it is growing and there is an interest here.

I would wager that there are other factors going on.
