2023 was 7/10, 2024 - 6/10. 2025 will get when there is going to be a 50% discount 1-2 months from now:-)
It won't quite be that, but near enough based on the price trends from last year

It was October 9th before it hit a 50% off deal on the PlayStation Store (was a day earlier on Steam) - there were a couple of 40% off-ish sales from mid July though.

It's been reported via an insider that EA have activated the 2 year extension on the F1 license deal.

I know some will disagree with me, but this is the best thing for the series right now. F1 '25 has had a fantastic start to life, made excellent improvements across the board and with more lidar tracks coming, brand new cars next season with new engine suppliers and more, it gives me confidence and optimism that the next few games will keep going in the right direction.
Just saw this - a quick retraction!

So no one really knows what's going on?!

2023 was not really that good. Granted, better than 2024. Lets see what happens in the next 2-3 months. The way it was patched in 2024 was the main problem, not the product at the launch date

6th place in the EU chart. Nowhere in the US top 20. The big American focus in real-life still hasn’t broken through to gaming.
There just isn't as much interest here in F1. No matter how much they try to make it look so. There's a lot of racing that goes on in our country and a lot of it being more entertaining than F1 has been in years.

Bit of both, 2023 was pretty decent overall, definitely the best since 2020 although not better. 2024 was just below average from launch, irrespective of the patching, it wasn't good. It did some things well and obviously the patching didn't help but it wasn't good from day 1.

I'd imagine the sports game area has more competition too. Madden, College Football, NHL and The Show probably take up loads of "player time" in that space?

For what it's worth, I'm a huge fan of The Show and I usually get NHL every 2 years as well, and I can get lost in them for hours upon hours! Still waiting for that elusive indycar game though.... Or a good NASCAR one!

Is this a good result? Do not know the benchmark

Keep in mind that the game released at the very end of the month. June might be a better indicator but it charting in Europe with 3 days of data is strong.

I'm gonna ditch my strict 'play career through year by year' policy I think and skip a few seasons for this one. It just looks like a major step in the right direction. My current career is just starting 2023 but maybe I took a two year break to be a test driver or try Le Mans or chase a career in rap music or something.

You had a bike accident, hurt your hand and couldn't drive for 2 years. That'll work 👍

How did you find the AI traction in the wet race? I read that the AI have far too much traction in the wet and I just tested it at Barcelona and found that there is an issue as they were pulling away as if it was a dry race.

Almost the opposite, went from last to 9th in 2 laps after the red flag restart. A touch too easy.

I just did a great race at Spain in the dry but there is still something going on with the AI speed out of somer corners. It may even be an issue with the player car and maybe the traction is off a bit for the player rather than the AI.

Possibly, the car at the start of MyTeam if you choose no development is an absolute dog.
