F1 Game Development License Rumors

I have a suggestion: is there any way Studio Liverpool could have the ability/rights to release a DLC addition to F1:CE - the ability to race in a field of vintage F1 cars (like the existing F1:CE unlockables) on the existing F1:CE tracks. This would be something that I would be prepared to pay for - it would seem to make sense while waiting a year or more for a new F1 game.

Codemasters/F1: not a confidence inspiring combination.

I thought this thread had either gotten closed or merged, but here is the thread with the most recent diuscussion on the topic of the F1 license... and you'll find most appear to be quite disappointed that Studio Liverpool won't be making any more follow ups to F1CE, especially now that CM has all but confirmed that the new F1 game will be largely based on the same physcis engine used in GRiD.... but here is a link to the thread in case you are interested or have trouble finding it with the search engine:
