I feel the same way about a made-up Fallout car as I do about made-up VGT's.

*shrug*

Oh well. The November pack is more than awesome enough to carry my interest this month.

should handle a lot better than the warthog I was expecting though.

a jetsons car in forza 6. kinda unexpected I have to say :)

Well, this train derailed fast.
I'm not gonna buy a $60 game just to get a car. I might try to borrow a copy though...

It appears that you only need to PLAY Fallout 4 in order to get the car. If that's the case, I figure it won't be too hard for those who have no intention of buying Fallout 4 to obtain this (probably nuclear-powered) monstrosity.

As for me, well, I had FO4 on preorder since it was announced.

P.S: I wonder if the car will detonate like a mini-nuke when the engine's critically damaged? Unlikely. But it'd be awesome.

I would like the car. I bet the interior view will be awesome. But I'm not going to buy Fallout 4 just to get it.

Sucks that all of the rental shops in Swansea, Massachusetts are closed for good. Gonna rent/borrow the game, fire it up, and never play it again. I never was interested in the Fallout series, but the car looks cool.

I dont know what T10 are thinking putting a fantasy car in Forza, that is not a good thing at all. Fantasy tracks are one thing, but up until now, T10 have always stayed well away from fantasy vehicles that are for actual gameplay. With only the Warthog getting shown off in Forza Vista in FM4. The problem here is, is that car can be made to perform as good or as bad as T10 want. It has no real world performance data to draw from, it can not be put on a dyno, nothing. So we could end up with a car that is better than the rest, or we could end up with a car that T10 have purposefully gimped to make it non competitive.

I guess I'm the only one happy about this? I already planned on getting Fallout 4 so this is just an added bonus.

It's not even a matter of being happy with it, it's the simple matter of it being behind a $59.99 paywall.

Then there's also the matter of me playing F4 on the PC which means, yeah, not going to happen.

I like the F100 pickup, but that is a real world car. And I don't have to go spend £50 on a new game for it either. I just don't like the other ones inclusion in Forza. In my opinion, sim based racing games should only deal with real vehicles, not fantasy ones. If I want to use Fantasy vehicles, I have plenty of other racing games, or games with driving aspects, that I can go and play. Such as Burnout/Ridge racer/GTA/Watchdogs.

The problem with Fantasy vehicles is the fact they add an inconsistency into the game, as they have no real world data available to them. That means that the game devs have to balance the cars themselves, without any real world information for how that car performs. They can make the car as good or as bad as they want.

Fantasy tracks are one thing, they are just somewhere to race. Fantasy vehicles are an entirely different thing. I just hope that T10 are not opening Pandora's box here.

Fair point. It never occurred to me that you needed to buy the Xbox One version of Fallout 4.

Is there a free demo of Fallout 4 available? Hopefully there is and that will be enough to qualify for the Rocket.

Knew it would be a livery once they said it was themed. The other car is actually only available through a game I have no intention of playing.

Snooze.

Seems like keeping it a secret for a few days was the only way T10 could build up any hype for the reveal just days after announcing another strong car pack. Though I wonder if the Rocket 69 will be an entirely new build, or a fictitious body design draped over an existing FM4 model.

PC version of Fallout 4 for me too so it's of zero use to me. Not that I'm missing much to be honest. Agree with what others are saying about the Rocket having no place in Forza. All a bit of a damp squib for me.

Wow... Even though I wasn't too hyped for this, this is actually disappointing since it's just a livery on a car I will never drive..... And does Forza really need a fantasy car? Ugh, I despise the whole "adding fantasy vehicles into sim racers" thing because they look so out of place with real world cars. It should at least be only Forzavistable like the Warthog from FM4.

Please T10. Please don't go the VGT route like GT did...

I'm very shocked about the fantasy car! The Ford isn't a big deal, but it's still a nice livery. The other car though...I think it'll be a blast to drive (no pun intended)! It might be a really good car once upgraded, or even a fun drifter. We'll never know until we drive it.
