Well, underwater DLC seems like a given at this point.
Then Bethesda needs to work on the swimming mechanics. Seriously, swimming on the surface is one of the most awkward experiences that I have ever had in video gaming.

That's the gun I was talking about, same name and bought it from Vault 81 but it doesn't fire two shots for the cost of one, it fires two shots and expends both bullets, which to me is a waste of ammo even if it would be better against stronger enemies.

nope it uses 1 bullet I made a video to prove it. notice how the ammo count on the pip boy goes down by 1 each time but two bullet holes are on the floor

I can confirm this as well. I've been using this gun for some time now.

Recently found an even better weapon though.

Doesn't work that well with multiple enemies, as it only has 6 rounds, but works great for the stronger loner enemies.

Have found some decent weapons myself, The Gainer, The Reba 2 and a rapid fire explosive 10mm pistol, but do like the one you found. 👍

For those wanting a challenge when entering the glowing see wear a hazmat suit rather than power armor, this makes it a whole lot more interesting!
Now on a different note.

Which won the battle a deathclaw or radscorpion?

Did that just last night, don't like power armour so don't wear it.
I'd say you won the battle, but between the two I'd go Deathclaw.

My money is on the Radscorpion. I have much more trouble with those, rather then the Deathclaws.

Lucky you! I've been wanting an explosive 10mm pistol :(

I dunno, when I came out that quest cave at the Glowing Sea, after midnight, there was a sleeping Glowing Deathclaw, which is always there I think.
Only in my Hazmat suit and extra armour parts on top (mod)

Woke him up, my character is not very good at sneaking, and he was on me, lifted me up and gutted me, instant death! And I'm over level 40 now, and on hard level.
I think the deathclaw was about level 41

I was able to fast travel out there, as well as call a vertibird in, since it was storming and pitch dark at night. If not, good luck getting out :scared:

Oh yeah - vertibird travel from there to Sanctuary was fun, minigun'ed a Glowing Rad Scorpion in the next liquid pool nearby as the vertibird took off :)

I ran into him on the way in to the cave. Another Deathclaw joined the party. I thanked my lucky stars that I had a sword that dealt ice damage and froze enemies with critical strikes; it allowed me to freeze the newcomer long enough to finish off the glowing Deathclaw.

So I think I've finally found just the right settings to lock 60fps and still have great visuals.

Still never see more than 2.5gb vram used but not too worried since it's good looking and doesn't slow down.

Am I the only person that wore normal armour (nothing that prevents or limts radiation) when the went to the Glowing Sea? I just got a bunch of Rad-X and made a B-line straight for quest marker. I do now use my X-01 Power Armour when I enter the Glowing Sea, but I went in completely casually the first time, and managed to survive... just.

@Kent Have you installed ENB? Also try this. Run Command exe. as Administrator. Type (without quotation marks of course) "bcdedit /set disabledynamictick yes" then enter. And "bcdedit /set useplatformclock true" then enter. It will make the transition of FPS much smoother. Turning off the Vsync and enabling Windowed Mode/Borderless helps too. It does not screen tear when in windowed mode/borderless. You can turn off the Vsync in Fallout4.ini and Fallout4.Prefs.ini and find this line "iPresentInterval=1". Change it to zero. If it doesn't save, you have to uncheck the "Read Only" in the properties of that .ini's. Check it again after you save the lines.

Haven't try doing anything with the vsync or other ini changes. I did use ENB for a while but it didn't have the result I thought it would. First day I tried it and vram got up to about 2.4 or 2.5, figured it would start using more but it never did and when I deleted the enb files the vram usage stayed at the same level.

I might give the specific prompts/commands a try but I'm not very savvy with that sort of work so I'm hesitant to go in and start playing with things.

I'd say it doesn't bother me but at the same time I've seen Arma 3 use almost the full 4gb of vram and so it makes me wonder how much more I could get out of the system if FO4 would do the same.

Oh well, live and learn.

Here's a cap from the settings I listed above.

@Kent Your game is not modded enough that's why it stays @2.5GB. That's also my VRAM count when I disable all mods. Now I'm hitting 4GB with less stutter thanks to ENB. I have a GTX970 so the ENB really helps because it has an issue being not a real 4GB card. I'm using the command prompts for weeks now and so far I haven't seen any negative issues with it only positive now all my games run smoother. But there's always the Repair Disc just in case though. Also after weeks of tweaking the only options that I find that has high performance impacts are Godrays which I turned off. Shadow Distance, I set to Medium. Distant Object detail and Object Detail Fade In High. And I set all the other "Fade" to maximum. Because it really doesn't changed much in FPS even if I set it to minimum. Maybe its my CPU dragging my GPU. And try setting the game in windowed mode/borderless it will really run the game better.

So either mine is bugged, or there are two versions of this weapon, one from Vault 81 that expends two rounds and one from the Vault you got it from.

I think he means vault 81 as far as I'm aware it the only place you can get it from.

I ran into that exact same spot by pure coincidence last night while doing part of the main story line. I had a Deathclaw chasing me so I didn't have time to sit around and watch the outcome of that battle.

Swapped out Piper for dogmeat and was shocked how fast I was able to take out a Deathclaw. The Syringer also helped a lot.

Your's is actually called Overseer's Guardian?

Make that Cait as well

A guy called Sheffield, though not acompanion can be asked to work for you, he's in Diamond City by Lorenzo's.

Actually managed to get a guy to exit his power armour by shooting the fusion core, have tried a few times but succeeded for the first time yesterday, the following explosion darn near killed me though - watch for that folks.

Had a person in vault 81 ask me to get fertiliser, this I did but they won't acknowledge me now to accept the fertiliser, is this an actual quest ?, if not I want a mod to dump the fertiliser all over her laboratory

Tested the Overseer's gun, it only consumes 1 bullet, what I am not certain on is the damage, is it per shot or total for the two.

I've never used the Syringer either, what can you do with it? Seems like all the drugs used in that gun are drugs that help us as players, slowing time, increasing dmg, etc. What can it do to an enemy to help the player?

Sorry but I'm a FO noob.

Watch and laugh.

EDIT: I think this is actually a PC mod :(

I don't know if this is a bug or a feature. "Radio Freedom" is no longer working for me, which, in turn, means that artillery is no longer working.

Anyone else seen this issue? Have I done something stupid?

Syringer Ammo wiki

Between Lock Joint, Pax, Endangerol, and Bleed Out, not many enemies will have a chance at all against you. The Lock Joint will drop a Deathclaw almost instantly to their knees. The Syringer does take a bit to get used to. Have the gun loaded and prepared BEFORE attempting to shoot.

I assume you have checked the chems work bench, if not check it out for what you can make and use, then try weak enemies.
