Hey guys, finally got the wheel today, haven't really had a chance to test it out yet, but damn does it look good!

The pedals look a lot better in person than in pictures.

I will have more coming soon! really busy lately
 
that is very evil to just **** tease us about you having one and not even give a mini review. I searched the entire web to see if anyone els received their but it seems ur the only one who has yet to even see it.

Please post results with game testing and provide pictures as well if possible I beg you. Assuming you already own a g25, a side by side shot to compare the size difference would also be quite exciting. Please, give us SOMETHING. Thank you in advance

It is actually kind of a long story, a friend of mine was a tester for fanatec and i kept begging him to let me use it.. He finally gave it to me and got in some trouble with the company because he violated the terms with them.
I really do feel bad about that, but anyway, I do have it, check back tomorrow, I will probably have it uploaded on youtube or something if thats ok.
Anyway, for those who are wondering, just to clarify, i do not have anything to do with fanatec, other than liking their wheel >P.
anyway, from what I have heard the shipments are already on there way so I am not too far ahead.
 
now that i found out u cheated to get the wheel, i feel extremely jealous rather than absolutely jealous :p. if you test the wheel w/ live for speed, you should probably use the DFP/g25 settings i posted. you may want to lose a lower ffb setting ingame though, since that wheel might be more powerful. i wonder if the profiler would even work w/ that wheel... or if it comes w/ its own profiler software...
 
This new wheel must be a piece of crap or else we would be hearing how good it is. I would also bet that it doesn't work with GT4.

so i seen pictures of the paddle shifters.. it reminds me of the old DFP wheel.. im not impressed about them :(
 
I wish some company would make a wheel that looks the same, and is sized the same, as a prototype or F1 wheel and still offers force feedback and programable button options.

I dunno... this seems pretty sketchy cddude. I saw you post on couple of forums with the same "wheel in hand" post and bunch of hype-generating small replies. You have the time to reply, but no time to take a quick photo of your wheel? People who got the g25 when it first came out were taking pictures of their shipment boxes and posting them even before touching their wheels.

Given how excited you seem about this wheel, it all sounds sketchy. I'm not saying you don't have it or not in the process of writing a review, but it sounds sketchy enough that IF you were trying to generate hype to get people to pre-order, showing nothing may work against you and discredit Fanatec.

I don't know if you're new to the sim community or not, but posting anything without proof generally ranks you as a mook => :dunce: rather than a hero => :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown: :cool:.

So until you post some screens or videos, to me you're a sketchy mook, and Fanatec is a sketchy company that took pre-orders and didn't deliver on time.

Fanatec isn't gaining my pre-oder until I see the real deal, and they won't gain anything at all if they don't deliver what they promise. I think that goes without saying, but since we're on the topic I figured I say it anyway.

To everyone else, be weary of any sketchy "community-hype" driven advertising. Be cool and stay in school. :cheers:

He did show the photo of the 911 wheel. I saw it right here in this thread, but I don't really know what happened to the photo or the comments he made about it (most probably got deleted or something) but here's the link to the image as proof (although like I said, the photo might got deleted....)

i own a xbox, dream cast, ps2, snes, psp, gba, ds, gp2x, n64, GC and ther crap.
rather get a PS3 then a 360 cuz i trust sony more with there systems.....not psp thought to many updates
