Thomas, if you're reading this, please consider non-alcantara rims for the csr elite.

I'm probably one of the few that actually likes the feel of the plastic csr elite rim. Don't get me wrong, I think it looks like a toy and don't like the way it's joined together. But I prefer it to alcantara. Alcantara absorbs too much sweat and holds it there. After a racing session, it's like holding onto a wet towel.

I'm sick of wearing gloves all the time. It's just not fun in summer. Give us the option for rubber/plastic/leather. I'll take any of those.

For the CSR E we will only make one or two rims but for the CSW there will be plenty of rims including rubber and normal leather. We even plan a wooden rim for classic cars.

May I ask how you know that it won't be able to support telemetry? Seen as you have the CSW I assume you must have seen some additional data ports? If it dosent then these same accessories for the CSW should also work for the CSR E?

The csw has a data port not founding the csw. Thomas mentioned this but no details.

Could you be a bit more specific about CSR E rims? Are there any coming soon?

Now this is a triple screen setup I could fall in love with. The problem is, those tiny bezels = huge $$$ for right now at least. Once we get some 40ish" TV's with bezels like that for under $1000 each, I might consider moving away from the 5 small monitor setup.

Oh, and I would give it a little bit more angle. That appears to be 40-45 degress, I'd push it in to 55-60 degrees.

Thomas, are you going to make a nice display rack for the wheels of the CSW like that too? Would be awesome in a game room/man cave. ;)

We have made prototypes but I have not even touched them by myself. We are fully focused on the CSW at the moment.

Thank you Thomas, I hope you won't forget about us, CSR Elite owners ;) Even though I consider buying the CSW the CSR Elite is a great wheel and deserves to be taken care of.

True! Although who will be looking :sly:

My mates when I invite them over to have some fun. Or maybe the mates when you all participate in a 24 hour race. ;)

On the other hand having them on the wall looks more clean the having them lie around the place.

I can understand the practical side.

I've never really been someone to complain about looks ;)

I think one can make wall mounts himself easily if needed :)

I wish you the best of luck to make a replica of the quick release hub. Though not impossible of course you will need the tools to machine it out of a piece of metal. At which point it would probably be cheaper and easier to just order a mount with a new wheel.

Who says you need to mount them via the quick release? Something like a coat or bike rack style would do fine.

That's not mounting though, that is just hanging. lol

You mount the coat rack to the wall with screws so it is fixed into place (temporarily), but you just hang your coat on the hanger.

That said you could indeed put a clothes hanger or something on your rig for easy grabbing for example.

I. Imagine even a cup. Holder style solution could work :)

Anything works as long as the hanger is long enough to support the rim with the hub. ;)
