Ok....so I just got a shipping notification from UPS and my Fanatec account shows as shipped but I wasn't expecting delivery until mid November. Anyone know how long shipping usually takes?

For me in France it is generally 48 hours.

I just received my ups email too. It was 15 minutes after ordering something online (not sim racing related) so I took some time to understand that it was the csw !

The wheel was listed as december availability when I got the csw v2 invitation so it is an unexpeted good news !
Maybe it was a bright idea to order 1 minutes after receiving the invite :D It allowed me to get one of the last wheels of the first batch.

You are correct! UPS shipping update, my Wheel and BMW rim has departed Germany and should be with me on Wednesday!!
 
Got my UPS shipping email nearly 3 hours before the Fanatec dispatch email.
I was hoping for some news about the Xbox one rim before the base was posted. I hope it's as good quality as the rest of the line up, and not another CSR Elite plastic job.
 
I can't see it being a plastic rim. Fanatec really seem to be listening to their customers these days. They took some flack for that Elite wheel rim.
I know I was very disappointed with it and sold it after a few months.
 
Looks like UPS have done a better job than they thought. Tracking now showing for delivery today!! Woot, Woot!! Wife and daughter are away at the caravan for half term holiday so I get to game all night. It's like being a student again!
 
Lucky you, with USPS you only know that you will have a shipment, someday, maybe in a week, or two, or three...

Fingers crossed, but it would have been good to know what to expect before it was posted.

I know Thomas said that it could be the end of the year before the rim or rims would be available, which I accept, but he must know what will be available by now.

A simple statement saying that this........or these.........will be the options for Xbox one owners, and the same for PS4 when/if that happens, no need for a time frame.

So Thomas, any info would be very much appreciated, thanks in advance 👍

Yesterday 16.00 UPS warning that a label has been printed.
Today 10.45 UPS on the doorstep to deliver the v2, nice job :)

Have been absent from sim racing for a while. However, got my invite code for CSW V.2. Jumped at the opportunity. I reckon it will be some step up from my 911 PWTS, which is a little creaky these days but has served me extremely well over the years. Can't wait to experience the smooth cogless steering input. ETA Jan 30th.
 
any one else get there invite for owning clubsport pedals v1 my shipping went from nov to jan. i thought all clubsport past owners were getting there wheels first. clubsport v1 wheel owners elite owners then clubsport pedal v1/ and so on i got my pedals 12/22/2010
 
Anyone got any tips on calibrating the wheel after firmware update. I've followed the procedure in the manual but Cal is still flashing on the display.

Edit: I found the answer. It's......RTFM (Read The ******** Manual)!! I hadn't entered the tuning menu. Disaster averted!

Well guys, what can I say, the wheel is fantastic. Played a little last night, tried some Project Cars, Assetto Corsa and some GT6. The wheel is phenomenal! I've never felt so connected to the road as I did in Assetto Corsa, it's the greatest sensation of driving a real car I've ever had in Sim racing. The wheel is so damn smooth and plenty strong enough for me. I purchased the BMW rim and have to say it's a thing of beauty. I knew it was going to be good but didn't quite realise how good. And thinking about the fact that I'll soon be able to use this thing on my Xbone and, hopefully, PS4 as well as my PC just makes me so glad I took the decision to buy it.

Over the years I've had, G25, Official MS wheel for 360, Fanatec PWTS, Fanatec CSR Elite, Thrustmaster T500Rs and Thrustmaster TX and probably others I can't remember. The new V2 wheel is far better than any of the previous wheels I have had and the addition of the BMW rim just takes it to a whole new level.
 
I get mine tomorrow, I just hope that I get my hands on an xbox one rim before the warranty runs out :banghead::crazy::rolleyes:;)
