Mr Latte and left888 - I would really hate to have to drag out the Warning hammer. Please either let this scuffle end or if even that's a problem, do me a favor and add each other to your respective ignore lists. Go to View Public Profile, then under the User Lists (found right under their name) you'll find Add to ignore list. Thanks.

Thank you for responding and laying it down.
May I point out that the recent post in this thread did not attack anyone and certainly did not mention or single out left888. People on the forums know who has said what by now and I have stated several times already "show the evidence to substantiate your claims". My post reflected that recent comments about the pedals were not the same views I had nor experienced from the product and that rather substantial testing had been involved.

I propose a month ban to either of us that brings ANY conflict involving others to the forums, not just him me fighting with each other but being abusive or ignorant to others on the forums.

I built my rig around the CSR-E pedals, so I didn't adjust them at all. Everything felt very natural at the angle I have it at, I doubt I'll even mess with an inversion kit (although I may in the future) because they feel great as is. The only adjustment I ever make is the load cell adjustment on the brake.

Give the throttle and brake a try in a shorter travel hole.
I think I prefer 3 over the default at 2.

Needs more testing to see if it helps improve laptimes but for some could be a small benefit.

Oh and a tip:
When trying to insert the alan bolt into the new hole, use a small alan key at the other end to push the spring/arm down slightly. It makes it easier to get the bolt through the hole.

Quick ? to Thomas,

I realize the CSW is pushed back by demand for the Elite. Understandable. BUT, by seeing those pics a couple months back, I am chomping @ the bit, literally, to get one.

As long as issues are few, and the production is ramped up. When do you see(feasibly of course) having the CSW ready for true sale here in the states? If you need a tester, I would fully oblige to being one sooner than later :sly: and @ no cost to you :dopey:

I am just curious, and can live for now. But, any news on that wheel for us(well me now converted) PC SIM racers, would put us @ ease. The QR system is VERY envious.

I know you want one as well as I do, AGP. Still rushing the good people in China making the wheels and stuff for us isn't a good thing cause by rushing things quality always suffers. So it is best to just wait patiently and give them enough time for manufacturing.

I'm with you 110%. And yes, I was even one saying if it is not right, do not ship until so. I guess it is also the fact that I am receiving a credit of the GT2 toward the CSW. In lieu of receiving ANOTHER(3rd) replacement GT2. I have offered and it was accepted that I would purchase a CSW with the credit of the GT2 going toward it. Hence my anxiousness to get the CSW......

Sadly, all my issues with the GT2 have been minute, but still bothering/troublesome. This time it is the lack of connectivity to the 360 and codewheel sensor. All have been verified by support, so I am simply waiting for any news for the CSW.

I can still race with the GT2, albeit ovals only. Any quick left/right movement throws the wheel's sensor for a spin, then I do lol. Imagine having to still try and race competitively with this, I am. Again, thankfully only ovals for now. Can't wait for the CSW though.

Patience is truly a virtue, one I am still coming to terms with.........

To be honest, the only "real" time concern I have is for the next season of GT Academy. My G25 is pretty much finished with its massive deadzone and brake pedal that magically applies 1-10% brake randomly (and only on GT5:grumpy: ). These two things really hindered my performance last season, and are even worse now. Since the competition on the east coast was so tight, there was no chance of making it to the top 8.

I know a real driver doesn't blame their equipment, but when the top 8 times were separated by .1 seconds, that is all it takes to make the difference.

All I care about is that the CSW is available before the end of the final stage. If not, I guess I will have to find those magical few tenths.

Get playing now Sonac. Only stop to eat or toilet then back to it!

You forget that he should put on his drinking hat too so he can stay hydrated without taking his hands off of the wheel. :dopey:

COOL :D

Paskowitz thats pretty impressive dude...

I was only 95th or 105th or something in that range... but that was just .5 seconds behind the top 8. Its crazy. I knew I could never make it and I had college to deal with, so I focused on that.

Drinking hat or one of the hydration back packs. ;)

Welcome back logi.

Welcome back logi.

Yeah, that's a possibility too. You could build a toilet into your rig as well. Then it only leaves cooking and eating. Lmao

Indeed I am back. I can't hold a grudge plus it was silly to leave everyone because of a silly thing with one person. Plus it was a good cool down time. Although looking at some threads not everything has cooled down here... :(

We've been through a lot recently. Currently were gearing up for war, we don't know when it's going to break out, but it will happen. Stay frosty. :sly:

Nah just kidding! Anyway good news that you got your wheel Sonac! Should be seeing mine here very soon! As long as customs doesn't go off to vacation!

And I can't really do colors on the app, I miss my red!

EDIT: Got my red back!

woohoo got confirmation that my order placed on 11/25 went through and ill be part of the December shipments :) hopefully theres no customs delays

now just need CS shifter and E-brake!!! im also debating if i want to keep my clubsport pedals or get the CSR elite. i know the clubsports are better but i really want inverted pedals. I could just invert the CSP on my rig but then that would mean my little nephews wouldnt be able to use it anymore cause they wouldnt be able to reach the pedals lol

I missed that one, what happened Logi?

Have there been any pictures or even renderings of what the CSS (shifter) might look like? Is it going to stick with the current Fanatec shifter style? Or go more towards something like the new Thrustmaster TH8RS?

Mr T showed a rendering in the video from, iirc ,E3.
What we know so far is:
7 drive gears + reverse
Will mount using g27 bolt pattern
Thats about it. :(

It may have sequential mode, depends on if they can add it in without hindering any regular shifting performance.

Yes that does make the wait even harder, especially since im one of the last people to order before pre orders stopped :(

looking at those pics I noticed they changed the color of a few parts

I feel the same way for the exact same reasons. Unless you need xbox support, there is much of a reason to get the CSR-E over the CSW, is there?

I haven't had much interest in racing F1 cars on my G27, but with a CSW, F1 rim, and CSP, I can imagine myself getting very much into it.

Thats just it though, not all of us care about the quick release. Although it is a very cool feature, when the base is virtually the same CSR-E/CSW then the big difference is the wheel. Some of us are just looking for the F1 wheel with the dual force feedback motors at the cheapest price. I dont need all the button functionality of the CSW, but if it is cheaper to buy a CSW with the F1 wheel already included over buying a CSR-E and having to add on an F1 style wheel, it makes sence to wait. All I care about is a formula style rim and two force feedback motors, you can get them on either wheel, the question is, which way will it work out cheaper to do it i wonder?

Yep. I was aware they got rid of all the gloss black on the wheel and the front cover but I wasn't expecting the main steering axis wheel to be anodized black like the early beta units were.....I was expecting and hoping they'd be anodized red like all the units we've seen at E3, Gamescon and in the promo pictures on the Fanatec site.

Currently Fanatec has not announced a formula style rim for the CSR-E wheel though. I do wonder if they plan to be making one. I'm not even sure if the CSR-E wheel can support that LED function like the CSW has need to recheck that comparison sheet Fanatec posted

Is that a button above the xbox guide button ?

Interesting, I wanna know what it is too. I also would like to know his setup for the CSP on the Playseat. I still haven't' put mine together all the way. I pre-ordered the CSRE and hope to get it soon, but I'm still short a shifter.... waiting on that CSS... :(

Yes, this is why I'm waiting patently to hear the answers to the Fanatec Q and A. That was one of the questions, hopefully there will be some answers too...

Just waiting on Thomas for the answers....
I sent 15 questions so I'm not 100% sure if I sent that but i know 360 won't support the LED I believe thomas mentioned it a while ago in a vid.
