Only the development builds released will be available on PC only since they can't release unsigned games on consoles. For unsigned console games you need an official devkit from Sony or MS which costs 1600 euros or something. I don't remember the exact figures but it was very pricey at least.

Wii U is the fourth. Here's a PDF explaining everything and showing the four platforms. http://wmdportal.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/WMD_Overview_1011.pdf

they refer to the "Console sims" as "real" as opposed to "sim". I like that.

in fact, I like the business model and the game idea in general, and while I worry the hardcore community isn't big enough to support the game's development stages, I desperately hope this will land on consoles eventually, as it looks great.

Any word on possible 3D rendering for C.A.R.S.? That would be about as good as it gets for my little world.

Why wouldn't it have support for that? I haven't checked their forum in a bit but it's open to the public to read I believe. So a quick search there should give you an answer. ;)

I'm sure that Wii U has to power but main target group for the console seems to be out of simracing sector. However it seems like hardware is similar enough compared to other consoles and porting it might be easy.

What games jonboy, did you use for testing/reviewing the wheel?
How have you found the new patch on FM4?

Im sure you've enjoyed it once again and look forward to seeing your efforts.

thats 1700 today right? im sure i saw somewhere that it would be a friday

I told you a few posts ago it's on Saturday! ;)

A quote of the post from Thomas in above link:

The review embargo for the Forzs Motorsport CSR Elite wheel will end this Saturday at 18.00 CET (German time).

Also CET equals GMT+1. GMT = Greenwich mean time. Greenwich lies near London, United Kingdom. Washington DC = GMT-6.

I hope I have informed you properly enough this time around, and I hope you can do the math for your timezone from here on out yourself. ;)

It was never Friday, someone posted on Crispy's thread that they'd be waiting for reviews on Friday, but that date was never annouced.

It's SATURDAY!

HoiHman said it in Crispy's thread, but I am sure that Friday was mentioned elsewhere on this forum before then. I remember Thomas said Friday earlier on his blog, namely here... http://911wheel.de/?q=node/7364

The last community testers should get their wheels by middle of next week so expect the embargo to end on Friday 9.12. at 18.00 CET (German time).

But since Thomas said Saturday on his blog in the latest post (link in my previous post above) it doesn't matter anymore in my opinion.

Got UPS Quantum today. Says my wheel will arrive: Today 10:30 AM!!!! They sent it yesterday sooo...

Thomas sent me a Birthday Present!

Congrats!

I'll just continue to sit here in my cockpit rocking back and forth hitting the refresh button on Thomas' blog waiting for the announcement of a CSW pre-order.

Oh, something I've been wondering....what's the deal with the center spring setting screwing up the wheel (CSR)? Whenever I set it it feels like I'm driving a 4000lb with a manual steering rack, even at high speeds. I like the wheel centering itself, but it makes the weight of the steering feel completely unrealistic.

Can I adjust any of the settings to bring the "weight" of the wheel down a little?

Are you connected to PC? If so, then go into the wheel properties and turn off the auto center spring function, that should fix it for you.

If it's console, I am not as knowledgeable on firmware and settings with that spring function. I do not have it on mine....

Maybe the drift setting? I dunno. I wish I had a Fanatec wheel to toy around with the settings.
I read a while back that editing the centering spring setting on the PC will effect it on the console. Dunno if it's true as I haven't followed that discussion much.
