find my other reply for solution.
Is anybody using the CSL Elite PS4 base with the CSL Elite P1 rim on Forza 7 for Xbox? If so, are your rev leds either on the wheel base or the wheel rim working?
Does the playseat challenge work with the csl elite and clubsport v3 pedals?trying to decide on a rig/stand to buy
FYR, Mine is CSL padels.
Some modification may be needed to mount the pedals.
They said on facebook FEI is changed.
OFF means No Force Effects, i do not understand why thy recommend setting this to OFF for GTS, the wheel feels dead with OFF
But please consider the wheel mount design of Playseat Challenge is not sturdy, I have to use a rod to support the wheel at the bottom.
(old picture with t300)
OFF dose not means No Force Effect, it means "no smoothing of the FFB".
Try it, that is wrong, on 100 is no smoothing now.
No LEDs on xbox, Forza 7 Windows, LEDs and Display work fine.
Hey, just found this
press Mode Button (and hold it pressed some seconds) the Color changes to yellow
Red = CSL Elite PC Mode
Blue = PS4 Mode
Purple = Logitech G29 Mode
Yellow = CSW V2 Mode
Green = Xbox Mode (only with Xbox Rim)
Good to know it's not just me.
However, I did the v293 update and now my wheel shuts off randomly.
Is that plexiglass bar neccesary? Are the provided stability bars not sturdy enough?
I had that one time on pc yesterday
Sorry, i don’t know if i understand your question, my English isn’t the best.
But the FEI Setting was created for noise/clunk controll, not for durability.
If you do the FFB test on the Fanatec Driver ap does your wheel turn off completely? That's what mine does, even after I reverted back to v292.
Trying to solve this with Fanatec is really annoying because it takes about 8-10 hours between email replies.
Did you try the live chat to get immediate response?
My CSL elite has some issue of rubbing noise, I 've send email to Fanatec CS for 2 days, but they didn't reply either.
Yes, I do not have the option available. From what people have said that option should be in the bottom right corner of the support contact page and it is not there.
I sent an email around 10 hours ago addressing this issue with a member of your customer support and I am waiting for a reply.
If this can be expedited that would be a great help.
Sorry that question was meant for Dabinn! My mistake!
No, it is random.
Exactly what kind of noise are you hearing?
Found him coincidentally on YouTube. He has a video with the rubbing sound:
Interesting. Mine makes a very slight noise (almost like a hiss), but not like that. Something isn’t right with his wheel.
Yes, it is necessary to prevent the pedals from sliding.
Thank you for your concern. Since Fanatec CS has no reply for 3 days, I open the cover of CSL myself to see what causes the noise.
And found the spur gear of the motor was loose and rubbed on the belt together with the white pulley.
Were you able to fix it?
