You're totally right. We'd rather have no communication like any normal company than to have the CEO, of all people, to tell us personally that we can order and it will be shipped immediately and then have him change his words 2 days later.

The difference here, of course, is that you usually don't deal directly with manufacturer. You buy a Logitech from NewEgg or Amazon and you would damn sure want information if your order was charged and had not shipped in over a month. And you would be elated to have the head of Amazon let you know what the problem is and how they would fix it.

We have "blocked" some inventory to deliver the orders which were already placed up to now. There is no reason to freak out or worry.

In the product description we clearly stated from the beginning that you will receive the GT2 in January. This does not mean January 1st. There is no indication that not everybody who was promised to receive it in January will not get it.

Things change quickly. If I tell you today that there is enough inventory it can happen that the item is out of stock. Please do not make the mistake to make quick assumptions about the quality of my statements.

Please do not change your orders and do this and that and instead just relax please. Thank you.

We're trying to relax but you aren't answering our direct questions.

I was told by you: ""You are of course free to order the wheel and pedals separatly and we will ship it right away. Why do you think that you cannot do that? "

Is this true or is it no longer true? I am not asking if they will get here before the end of Jan. I am asking if they are going to ship NOW because that is what you told us.

Can you please put up the GT3RSV2 Clubsport edition back up on your USA site so that it can be preordered--I promise not to freak out when it does not ship immediately and know there will be a wait, but would like to preorder now. Thanks.
 
Hey some good news here guys.

I just checked my order, which was made on 01/05/2011 for the CSP and the GT2 and it has a status of delivered.

I am hoping that this means that Fanatec's original statement that they are ready to ship is valid.

Either way, at least this looks like some good news possibly.

P.s- I'm in North America so it's probably shipping from Cali. This may not be the case for everyone if you're not in NA.

I hope this is only a statement reflecting the current problems of Winter 2010/2011!

I think an improvement of the ordering and inventory system is necessary if you have to make such a qualification as above on a regular basis!

I'm still sitting at "pending". Re-ordered the same day as you. Glad to hear though that it's looking like you've gotten straightened out my friend!

I ordered my Clubsport pedals (after canceling my standard pedals order) on the 5th at 9AM or so. It said "pending" then. This morning, it said "paid." Now it says "delivered." I expect the "we are shipping your product now" email soon.

As I understand it, the orders have to go through Claudia F. in Germany and then get sent to Claudia Ochoa in California. Yes, they are both named Claudia. That's not confusing at all. :)

I'm not sure where Shape is from but I'm in North America so I'm assuming mine is shipping from the same place as United States orders.

Hopefully yours will go to delivered today.

Yeah, in Worcester. I used to get up to Epping, NH often to race my Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX at the drag strip. Haven't been there to race in a few years, though. Hope your order goes through today!

I think Endor has a place in Beverly Hills (must be nice)...not sure if that's where they ship out of though.

I hope so to man...I'm still rolling as "pending". I guess we'll see though. Much appreciated!

I ordered just the GT2 wheel and CSP on December 30th and they shipped yesterday. Scheduled to me here (Virginia) on Wednesday.

Was this for the orders that were split-up? Or the GT2 CSE package?

I ordered the GT2 CSE package, mine still says Paid/Pending.
 
Some people are acting like little spoiled brats...good grief...lmao it's just a damn wheel not a heart transplant u r waiting for.

Hey phate,
there is a lot of miscommunication here but the one thing you can be sure of is that if you ordered the GT2CSE package it will be shipped by the end of January, but probably not until the 21st according to the latest blog post.

It looks like the CSP + GT2 seperate orders are being shipped as Thomas told us earlier this week.
 
Thomas please don't got me wrong. I do not intend to cancel my order. I'm sure you and your team do their best!

To me, I'm getting like a child when it comes to my hobbies (racing games and real racing). I get an idea (buy a wheel, new motorcycle) and I want it now. ;-)

I called Saturn here in Germany. The t500 rs is lies there waiting for me. I'm now out buying it. After I got my gt2 and compared them both, you'll find one of those at ebay or brought back.

For the others: I switched shop language to english. Status says "Processing". Maybe that means some parts (hopefully the wheel and pedals) are on their way (i ordered lot of other things like shifters, wheel stand etc too)

It sounds like most of the confusion came from communication issues. Thomas saying one thing, Claudia saying another and then the language barrier on top of things!

Good to see Thomas was not wrong when he told us they were available.

Sales are exploding at the moment. The inventory for January is sold out on the GT2 so we set the delivery date to February for new orders.

The order number you gave me only shows a single GT2 wheel which has been delivered. Do you have another order number for the CSPs?
The technical issues you have seem to be related to the use of the old driver. Please user ver 107.

Actually, that would be acting like adults. You pays your money you expect goods in hand. Simple as, really.

I can see it now, when the mortgage calls up and asks for their money on time, you say "Stop whining like a kid, just wait, I will send youth emoney when I get a chance - show some patience".

Probably wont work to well, they want their money and they want it on time. Nothing wrong with expecting the goods after they are paid for.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand, expected delivery of the Gt2 bits and pieces, hopefully all deliveries and dispatches are sorted out sooner rather than later.

if this happens, there will be many people satisfied they ahve received goods as paid for. :)

I have PC driver v1.07 in use. There have been issues on the PS3 as well, but I dont want to beat a dead horse. It is what it is and I will am satisified with the GT2 as it stands. I have taken delivery of a Thrustmaster T500RS this morning and will see if it addresses my PS3/PC needs.

I am still interested int he CSP's being delivered (and the shifter when they are in stock) for use with the XBox360. It will also make it easier for me to sell the GT2 if I no longer need it, if I have the CSP's on hand.

I will PM you the order# of the CSP's.

*edit* Interesting, I just logged onto the webstore and the CSP line item shows "Delivered" - earlier today it showed "Paid" - perhaps UPS is delivering them as I type this - I am not at home at the moment.

Perhaps they havent been delivered afterall - based on this email, it is as if the CSP where not in stock and only started shipping today. Oh well, we have been in for the long haul so we may as wait it out now. Although I checked when the other email I received for the first shipment arrived, and that email arrived the same day the UPS truck did. Shrug - who knows any more.
