can you get all prize cars in the licence center if you have already compleated them on bronze??? if i did them again and got all golds would i get the gold prize car!!!??? *confused*

Off topic: Holy **** that's freaking hilarious!

On topic: ANY hyper modified V8 muscle car from USA, EU, or AUS would suffice for me. The DB9R has got to be the sexiest race car ever...it's just too freaking beautiful for words. A Monaro LM Race Car would be the complete and utter **** also. Maybe on the next GT PD will appoint an independant US, EU, and AUS as well as an Asian car R&D team, Modeling team, and implimentation of thier own region's cars to try and balance the game a little better. There's too many US/EU/AUS cars that were omitted that really should of made it...hell there's a few Asian countries like Malaysia and Korea that have a decent cars that would work for FF races that they completely forgot about. And there are WAY too many Skylines, RX-7s, NSXs, and etc. I love my Skylines and RX-7s...but jesus there are way too many of both of them.

I know from playing around with MK's excellent program in GT3 that only a few lines of "Code" need to be changed to make ANY car into an effective "Race Car." What I do NOT know (among MANY other things!) is how much work would be necessary to change the outward appearance of the Body. Is it just as much work for PD as creating the Road Version in the first place? :confused:

I'm reasonbly happy with the cars that are in the game but the car which I wanted to see in GT3 and GT4 was the Nissan R390 GT1 LM race car '97 (The black one, I seen it in someones avatar in here) I loved it in GT2 as I didn't get the car untill I was finished the game and it was so much better than the '98 version for some reason and it looked better.

Anybody else agree or is this a silly little fanatsy?

Sorry Geezer, I guess I just didn't read close enough. So with that...

How about a beefed up Autobianchi Rally Racer. I think that might be cool. Or how about a BMW M Coupe LM racer. A Mini Cooper Rally Car might be fun. Or a Shelby Series I LM Racer even. Can't think of any others at the moment. So many to choose from. :)
 
What this game needs is more variations of the skyline race cars and supra racers, theres just not enough there :crazy:

Anyway, seriously, the DB9 one would be sweet!
Any TVR one would be cool too (especialy the V8)
And a Fiat 500 conversion :sly:

I would even love the cars in the post above in their normal versions never mind racing versions of them.

I guess by saying Lexus Soarer you mean the knewer version of it? Well I would rather the older version of the Soarer, perhaps the '93 version and have the 4.0 V8 and the 2.5 TT (twin turbo) and get racing versions of them.

I wouldn't mind skraping a few skylines and supras as their is way to many of those as stated above and bring in a few more cars like the Morgan aero 8 (I think the names right)

I wouldn't of minded seeing the Xsara WRC rally car and the knew Focus rally car instead of the old version.

This is rather like my suggestion about the R390 GT1 '97 above but I remember in GT2 with the Toyota GT1 LM '98 (I can't remember if it was the '98 but it was the one with the red and white vinylls on it) As to add some differnt cars into the game again instead of the same one in 3 versions of the game.

I like your latest list! I used the Mini so early in GT4 I'd already kinda forgotten about it. How about a Race Version "Vitz" so that econobox from "Spoon" would have something to race against? Or the Fiat 500 proposed by rennie911? PD could triple the HP & it still wouldn't have any! :lol: ...O.G. :D
 
A Ginetta G4 race car would be friggin awesome. I can't imagine what the specs for that would be!
 
The game does definitely need more LM style racers. The ones from Japan are nice and they can totally kill, they even got a lot of the cars from the US in there. What I'd like to see more of is European race cars, like that awesome DB9 LM.

Off topic: Having Porsche, Ferrari, and Lambo + more variety of american muscle would make the game sooooooooooooooooooooooo much better.
 
I'm definately down with the TVR crowd. I also built my own TVR racer (the non-SD version of my avatar), with dark paint, lowered with black wheels and a black wing, I can almost imagine that it is the race car. Until I drive it of course... Still has the look though.

Hmm......lots of ideas. I for one, would like a lot of cars from past GT2 games.

What about a '00 Cobra R race version, or the Saleen S7R or '05 Mustang GT like a couple other people mentioned? A '69 Z28 Trans Am Race Car, or a '65 Shelby GT350R Race Version? A TVR Speed 12 Race Car would be killer, as would a SLR McLaren Race Car of some sort. I think an S14/S15 Silvia would be cool looking as well, although then it's too similar to the C-West Razo car.

The Cerbera LM should have never been taken out, along with the '97 R390 GT1 and '98 GT-ONE should have really come back. The '97 R390 was so much cooler looking than the '98 and was faster too. The Nismo GT-R LM from GT1 or a TRUE Altezza LM like the one in GT2, and who could forget the almighty del Sol LM? I also would have liked the Elise GT1 and Esprit GT1, also from GT2.
 
WOW!!! I started with GT3 so never knew the Racers listed ever existed. Am I to understand that the Black / Red NISSAN R390 was once in the Game? IMHO that version is SO Much better looking than the one we have now! 👎 ...O.G. :D

not to go off topic, but imagine if they were in the game and PD just screwed them up really bad, then we would have all these people complaining "oh boohoo we finally get the cars we want and they suck! lets all sue PD! i hate them! i hope they die!"
this is not a flame, im just trying to bring up a point that they might not turn out as well as they are in real life...
 
We need Austrailan V8 supercars. Other LM cars the DB9R and C6R would ahve been nice. Along with some old Ferrari Porsche racers. Fantasy wise i gran turismo Mini would be neat. Also like said the Callaway,Salleen,and elise.

From my last post, I kind of liked the idea of a Pontiac Trans-Am Race Car. I'm primarily referring to the ones of the late 1990s and early 2000. It got me into cars like the F-Body Camaros. But how can you not like the Firebird/Trans-Am of the late 1990s? It was sexy, mean, and damn it- just looks good. Make it a race car, it would be sick. It's also too bad production was stopped of the Firebird/Trans-Am.

Ferrari, Porsche, and Lamborghini... perhaps the biggest broken record about GT games other than damage and better AI. And oh yeah, online mode. I mean no disrepect, but I don't think it's going to happen. I'm not whining about it, I guess it's just about the image of certain car companies. And if GT5 includes damage (I read once that it will), how would they feel about a person doing a little touge action around Tokyo R246 or Seattle in a Ferrari 360 Modena and banging it up? I don't know what the aforementioned companies think us GT gamers are when they say "hurt their image." I'd sure like to see a Ferrari 360 Modena or F430 in a GT game so I can modify it and kick some ass on the track, but as much as you demand for it, I guess PD isn't to blame for not having them, it's perhaps the car company.

When it came to the race cars, I had a bold prediction that the stars of GT Concept would be in the game, and for the most part, I was right. America didn't get Concept, but look at it this way. GT4 features some of the machines I remember seeing in GT Concept pictures. Examples include the Honda NSX-R Race Car, the Mobil1 NSX, Cadillac Cien, Suzuki GSX-R/4, and such. So if there's another GT Concept based on GT4 that gives us a preview of GT5 and America doesn't get it, we'll know what we missed out on when GT5 comes out.
 
I just think they need to bring back the "Race upgrade" (cant remember the exact name) in GT2, it was in there amongst the wieght reductions & such. Just polish that a little and BAM! instant racecars. ;)
 
ah what about a aston martin vantage gt racer , also a mercedes cl600 racer would be very nice and a couple of porsche and ferrari's , maser's and lambo's would be nice so PD get exotics on there and give no reason for forza motorsport nothing to have better than gt4.:grumpy:

who remembers the dodge intrepid from gt2 that had a 'drag strip' race modification? that was sweet. i would like to see the f-150 lightning have that modification.

Wow, Saleen S7R would be sweet. Hopefully it would turn a little better and brake a hell of a lot better than the ol crappy s7 feels on GT4.

How about a BMW Z8 as well?

Hey, we can't get everything on one game or there would be no series to it. Let's just wait until they complete GT5 and see what's popping then. I kind of upset that most of the cars are from GT3, but I'm glad to see that they got new years to the cars. Alot of them is not even on the road yet, but it's in the game. Hopefully, we would have most of the LM cars mentioned. I like when they leave things out, because it leaves your imagination to come up with discussions like this. I'm not the producer of the game, but I can almost garantee the best has yet to come. Gran turismo will never end and I'm pretty sure the makers know this. There's too many cars and manufactures to end it. Mark my word!!!!!!!!!!!
