1) Do a similar setup to real life where the points reset.(Currently we don't have enough to do a whole 12 seeds so it would be a smaller amount of seeds, probably around 5-6)

This one!

Also, I wish to throw you a bone for an idea.

Why don't you put it so that the worst of your three picks are eligible to be picked again the following race OR if any of your cars crash out, you can pick them the next week as well.

My thoery behind this is what if you pick someone and they crash out after say a lap through no fault of their own?

And now for my picks and if Cale bettered me, i relinquish another lead :scared::nervous:

Busch 3rd :)
Kahne 5th :)
Stewart :ouch::ouch::ouch:

I have given thought to something like this, if I do implement it though it won't be until next season.

Sam48 scored the most points with 55, Cale also regains the points lead.

Next week is Talladega, hopefully the ending will be a tad less eventful than last years.

Always have one of my drivers have a major issue.

Actually Stewart wouldn't have counted anyways since you picked him last week.

Phew! Lost the points lead but not by much.

For Talledega, throw qualifying out of the window and using the tried and tested method of three numbers out of the hat

D'oh! Meh, I was in such a hurry. Next week is going to be such a crap shoot I may just pick randomly.

My picks:

Johnson (2nd)
Harvick (7th)
Gordon (31st) :(

Thanks Stewart. I think Gordon here should have won the last two races.

I really thought you might finally get a win, it's bound to happen eventually.

Also: I've added the rules for the chase on the first post. Read it and let me know what you think.

No way I am lucky enough to pick the winner next week. Just hope that all three of my drivers aren't in the "big one". Unfortunately I will be out of town and will not be able to watch the race. Camping/hiking/car show in Moab takes priority. :dopey:

From now on please use this format while sending your picks.

Subject Title: Fantasy NASCAR Round # Picks
#-Driver 1
#-Driver 2
#-Driver 3

Thanks, Justin.

^^^ That's exactly how I do it.

Yay me.

Qualifying is rained out so it's even more of a crapshoot than normal.

Make sure to get your picks in before the drop of the green.

My Picks:
1-Jamie McMurray
24-Jeff Gordon
88-Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Good Luck.👍

Well, it went better than I expected, for two drivers

Juan Pablo Montoya 3rd :)
Carl Edwards 11th :indiff:
Jimmie Johnson :(:(:(:(:( Thanks Greg(!):grumpy:

Congrats to Cale for scoring the most points.

From now on I will be posting the picks as well.
*=Led Most Laps
Line through driver=Driver was selected previous race.

Remember next weeks race at Richmond is a Saturday night race.

Anyone know what channel the NW race is one?

I just can't catch a break man. You should have heard my dad and I cheering when Johnson took himself out. Sucks Jr. fell back at the end there, he was my best chance at finally scoring a victory. Yet the win-less streak continues...

Crap, I forgot I picked Harvick last week. I could have had a 1-2.

Anyway, was it just me, or was Harvick just a few inches under the yellow line as they came across the start/finish line on the last lap?

He had already completed the pass when he went below it.

I found it but thanks. I was expecting some pre-race stuff so I was confused when i didn't see any.

You may have heard my dad too...

Well Jimme didn't cost me much

You wanna know the sad thing? We did a mock draw before I did the actual draw and the numbers that were pulled out were 1, 42 and 29 :ouch: and I rejected McMurray and Harvick because I thought they would be in the big one :ouch:

I'm a noob!

Remember that the race is tomorrow night, not Sunday. Get your picks in by the green flag.

My Picks:
12-Brad Keselowski
18- Kyle Busch
33-Clint Bowyer

Good Luck!

:ouch:
Forgot this for the second time this season. Even worse is the fact that all three drivers I would have picked (Harvick, Burton and Jeff Gordon) are currently running in the top ten.

Got a win with kyle busch, but wish Jeff would've won. :(
My picks:
Kyle Busch
Clint Bowyer
Tony Stewart

Congrats to Ian Poole for scoring the most points with 80.

Kind of a small turnout, hopefully next week is better.

One day Gordon may catch a break and win one.

Next week is another Saturday race at Darlington.

Also, just a notice that after the All-Star race I will be adding a couple rules.

Can I argue a point with you Justin? Because I think you will find that Cale didn't get as many points as I did. I think you have put it that Smoke finished in the top fifteen but he didnt and Cale should have 70 but I should be on 80 because the 00 got me ten more points so i should have 80

Sorry, I was in a hurry, fixed.
