Figures, the night I pick Johnson he has issues. :ouch:

Well count me in for dropping some positions in the standings. I don't even know why I do this anymore.

Wish Burton wouldn't have had that penalty at the end, I would have finally had a win. Unfortunately there's no way I'm ever getting a win so something was bound to happen.

Congrats to me I guess as I had the most points with 95. Cale had 90 and was able to jump to a 40 point lead over 2nd. Sam48 moved up into Chase contention by racking up 85 points.

Next week is the "Monster Mile" Dover.
 
wow, this must have been my bad week, I picked McMurray, Gordon and Martin, figured he would do the biz for me but never did.
 
Cale must be psychic. I on the other hand just pull drivers out of my butt hoping to do well. Need to change my strategy I think.
 
Try my strategy, i go on qualifying and then look at past results for that race
 
I use the practices for the most part, and then think about who should bring home a solid finish.
 
3 in the top ten, I'll take that.

@Justin- would you mind posting who picked what driver like you used to? I sometimes forget what drivers I picked the week before.

Next week is the All-Star Race, make sure you read the rules before sending in your picks.
All Star Race Rules:

* You Must Select two drivers who you think will advance from the Showdown Race into the All-Star Race(10 points for each driver that advances)
* You will only be selecting one driver for the All-Star race, if that driver wins 20 points will be awarded. There will be no points awarded if the driver does not win.

Note: The driver rule is not in effect for the All-Star race so you can pick any driver.


Also: Starting at the Coca-Cola 600 two new rules will be implemented.
1) 5 points will be given to a driver that is running but finishes outside the top 15.

2) If a driver fails to finish a race he will become eligible to be selected for the next race.

Johnson for the All-Star. Or either of the previously mentioned two. I need some points tonight!

Best case scenario, JPM and JB transfer on finishing 1-2 and Ambrose transfers on fan vote, just because I'd like to see him in the big show. And of course, one of my drivers winning the last segment. :rolldice: :sly:

Edit: Yep, JPM is down! Lame, because both him and Smith were really wheelin' those cars around there. BUT! What if JPM WAS going to be voted in? No ten points? Nascar would not even tell us?

Edit2: I thought Burton was toast in that last scrap. He may have slight damage to the right front fender, but it has to be slight if at all. Come on fan vote! Burton Burton Burton!

I hate you guys. :lol: I didn't think he'd get the fan vote, I honestly thought it would be Dinger or Montoya. Oh well, I've got one left, don't fail me now Jimmie Johnson!
