True enough - that can't have been much fun. Do give the game a go now though, (or at some point) as there's a lot of cool stuff in there.

Yeah i think i will, Iv'e seen it going quite cheap so it will be good to give it a go again before 3 comes out.:)👍

Reminds me so much of Far Cry 1 for the PC. This might end up being a purchase for me. The game just keeps looking better and better. I thought they might bump it to 2013 but I think it could actually release this year.

Just preordered and paid for my Insane Edition. I wouldnt normally fall for the more expensive special/limited editions in most cases but iv'e been looking so forward to this and waited such a long time, I didnt want to miss out on anything and get the best experience from this great game possible. So i decided to treat myself. :)

I hope everything you get as far as dlc gets released down the line; I will definitely buy it.

Less than 10pounds more expensive than the price of the regular edition in most places, So with the DLC even if it did come out at a later date it would probably be atleast 5 to 6 pounds (probably more) for all the extra missions so its not to bad. I still wont make a habit of getting the Special Edition of games though :).

(wheres the GDP sign on PS3 keyboard :lol)
 
Hmm.... I can only find it for like $130 imported from Play-Asia; since it isn't available in the US.

So, ya. That isn't bad at all.

I got a copy for free, otherwise I would get that; if they even release that state side.

Wow, thats more than £75!

Cant think why they wouldn't release the insane edition in the US. The biggest market in the world. Must be a reason though.

Edit- Surprised there isnt more intrest and input in this thread considering how good it looks and its nearing release.

I think the game probably scares a good few players as there won't be much relaxing with this title :sly:

It does look superb though. I know of a few gaming websites where this game has been discussed for quite some time now...a bit like this place and any GT title.

Who would want to relax during this game?!!! :lol: Theres so much to do :) Plus theres always the Rakyak Villages and captured outposts to chillout in, Stock up/Customize/Purchase weapons Play games Etc.

Does anyone know of any YouTube Commentators/Channels Covering FarCry 3?

I'm looking forward to the SP primarily. That MP trailer has got me excited for the MP just as much now though: ). Looks so good. Could be less than a week now if shopto.net keep the streak of getting new releases to me 2 days early. Thursday atleast is guaranteed though. Got BF3 aftermath to look forward to early In the week aswell!:)

I want this game but I am so overwhelmed by all the other games that have come out recently. I have purchased every single FC game even the one on the PC. I didnt like FC2 at all and this looks like its going back to the roots. So I am interrested for sure but buying it would be a waste for me right now. I will try to rent it for sure.
