Glad to see you dived in and like I said on twitter, are enjoying it Mr @torque99 - If you've got the season pass, you also have Far Cry 3 remastered available to you - I will warn you, that one is a lot tougher and will relentlessly throw animals and baddies at you - actually, so will FC4.

Yes, Lost on Mars opens up on the 17th and the zombies, presumably August sometime. The assets for the first two are already available in Arcade mode, so don't be surprised by getting a laser-rifle in your load out for a Vietnam based map.

Thanks @MeanElf Yep I am enjoying it so far. I am getting used to these open world games slowly and all the menus crafting and perks hidden away etc Photo mode dragged me in but I am liking it all so far. There is lots to unlock or find out etc and I am sure plenty more questions and photos incoming

I took a few of boomer once I realised he follows you and jumps in the water (see photo previous page) - but he still won't jump in the vehicles :P maybe I will just pat him on the head (Is this the only command?) apart from revive/attack (left D Pad).

I also am enjoying the stealthy Hours of Darkness in the Jungle environment (Awesome)👍

You can use your binoculars and D-pad to send him to a location, he'll scout for enemies on the way - so that's quite useful when taking a camp on, just keep sending him to positions around that camp and he'll spot the baddies for you. Useful also as a 'stay' function and you can call him to you (hold D-right) He won't get into vehicles and can be a liability near fire.

@MeanElf I tried Far Cry 3, the graphics are not too bad! I am enjoying the start of the game getting out of the prison/jungle etc.... Well not only that while I was on the Digital PSN Store downloading this Free version I saw that Far Cry4 and Primal Bundle was on 50% PS+ sale together and having never played any Far Cry game ever but enjoyed 5 so far, I gave in and brought those 2 as well! (£22 both) I now have 3, 4 Primal and 5 to work through the next few months!...I have played the start of all of them and they all look great. As I am late to the party I will more than likely play through on easy mode and try as many missions I can mixing it all up! :ill:

So if anyone has missed out they are all on the PS+ sale at the moment 👍

p.s Edit: Do any of them apart from 5 have a decent photo mode with settings or are they just HUD free Photo share on the previous versions?

Close up Level of Detail is great in this game 👍 I stopped at a random place on this Huge Map.
#PS4 Pro

^^^ The detail in this random tree bark, splinters, shadows, moss etc I can't get my head around how they do this on such a huge scale (100,000's+ trees and leaves etc) It must take a lot of work with these open world games! Well done Ubisoft again.

Great pics there Mr @torque99 - well, with 3 + 4 + 5 and Primal in your backlog, you should be kept busy until the spring. Unfortunately, none of the others have a photo mode, which is an absolute shame for Far Cry: Primal which has some sublime scenery and atmospheric feels. Hopefully, they'll work on a retrospective photo mode for the older games. It does look a lot sharper and more detailed on the Pro - I must say.

EDIT: I will say that FC3 is my favourite of the latest, purely for Vaas (the psycho warlord) Michael Mando is a great actor, who you can also see in Better Call Saul and early Orphan Black.

I just downloaded the new Lost on Mars DLC (5GB on PS4 Pro)- It is a great fun intro and the graphics and details looks sublime once you get outside on the rocks. I can't wait to work my way around the map on this one! (my ideal little mini game this)

Awesome pictures! I played the Mars DLC briefly and I love it so far. Looks especially good and is fun.

My only complaint is that the guns look the same. In my inventory I have a rifle and shotgun which look completely identical in shape and color so the only way to know which is which is to know them by name or just remember the slot you have them assigned to. Not the end of the world, but strange they didn't model the gun types to look drastically different.

Facing the last repair job on the Lost on Mars DLC and I can safely say I'll be playing it again soon as it's been lots of fun - I've even had fun in the main game pretending to be an alien in my spacesuit.

Been enjoying all seven of the zombie film pitches from the DLC - get all three stars in challenge mode and it unlocks stuff in the main game.
