I know, but for the sake of a shorter post I didn't want to go into the 3 page description of the process that went into it.
And are you sure you'd be better off doing that? Because I'm assuming if you want to build a frankenstein you'd have the MAIN parts readily availible...Then depending on your mechanic know how it would probably be ALOT cheaper and alot more potant than the 3,000 dollar stroker kit.

very true, but then again it doesn't always cost $3,000 to stroke an evo... there is the TODA stroker hit witch is about $3,100..... but then you can buy the busher racing version, basucally the same thing for $2,000....... And busher racing is a company well known for making there evo's run high 11's on stock turbos.... just at boosting 21.5 psi... thats a big wow.....

He's probably looking for used Evos to replace his Rustang. :p

That thing's just nuts...

First link doesn't work for me too.... Boos Lee's videos are awsome, great Evo and the Camaro really has a nice sound btw.....

Oh I can see why he did, bigger displacement is always better. I just found it amusing. Not to mention I've never ever heard of a stroked 4 cyclinder before.
You can stroke the Neon's 2.0 up to about 2.2l. Heck, the factory 2.4 is just a stroker 2.0: same head, same everything, just an inch taller long block. That's what made my Stratus swap doable...

The 2.4 can be stroked to 2.6l (2.7 if you don't mind a real grenade engine). That's how Mike Crawford, Forward Motion, and those guys are getting FWD Neons into the high 9s.

Bump. Same link, one more vid... the thing finally lost a race. It took a trailered '67 Camaro on slicks and a 300shot of nitrous to do it, mind you. Damn times 2.
