Eclipses are AWFUL for cornering, don't even start with that, 1st gen eclipses had moderate turning 2nd generation eclipses were HORRIBLE 1st Gen eclipses pulled the exact same lat G's as a stock Civic HB, no lie. A SRT4 outperforms a Eclipse in an instant.
 
The fastest Modified FF in the world (top speed wise) is a Civic (forgot the year but its the previos model of the one we have now) that tops out at 189.xx MPH. I have already posted this somewhere around here...

No it wasnt an EG6. This one was grey and a coupe (not the hatchback/3 door). The EG6 looks like the Spoon Civic Type R (maybe it is?, cant remember but it is in the Midnight Challenge threads in the PC Gaming Forum)...
 
Are you talking about that Black/yellow one? The Eg6 is the Hatchback that looks nice....The one I am in possesion of ..The EF is the older hatch that you see mexican's driving(No offense) The EK hatch is the "Ichiban" hatch..with the ugly back end and horrible tail lights..and the EP is the new Really crappy I-vtec POS

which isnt FF (old ones). FF's understeer heavily under power. Plus the Celica isnt the fastest (the one you mentioned. There are a bunch of FF's mentioned that are faster if you would have read the rest of the topic...

What model? And when you say fast, what kind of fast? Top speed, track, 1/4 mile, 0-60? Just wondering...

y'all are on crack... i dunno what ur talkin about - this CIVIC does 204 mph... it used to be an ECONOMY CAR! i'm a honda person and i think i read this in honda tuning magazine (april '03?) and now I'm here to tell you that this is the world's fastest civic... im not sure about others (i also didnt find anything to say that this car is not FWD... so I assume it is)

the quickest civic unibody: 93 civic hb w/GSR turbo - 1/4mile in 8.59 sec

the quickest FWD CAR: 8.57 secs - Stephen Papadakis '98 Civic


looks like honda civics are sittin pretty at the top of the charts, eh?
