I like the drivers view too (view from the inside). You get a rear vision mirror so you can see whos behind you and what's in front of you at the same time. It also seems easier to drive and take corners in driver mode.

Goodness you people should do a search before you post. I think this question has come up about five times already with polls included.

Driver's view - keepin` it real baby! (:

Well this isn't my thread, so I just reply to it anyway. :D

i like the view from outside. i can see my car and i can get it positioned for the next turn because i know how close i am to the side of the road. It the closer view to the car, the view before the in-car view.

Some time ago I saw a PC driving game (can't remember the name) that had a pretty cool looking driver view. You could see the top half of the steering wheel, and dash. The dash had all your instramentation, and when you turned you saw a pair of hands w/driving gloves on turning the wheel. I just thought it looked cool, but I soon changed my mind because the interior of the car took up to much of the screen. Somthing like that would be good on a future version of GT IF you could turn your head and look independent of were you're steering.

Was this game called Street Rod. Because there's a game (pretty old one at that :D) you can see the dash and steering wheel.

I don't like it. It's too hard to steer and the races are too hard.

well, at first i like to view from outside so that i can see other cars and turning easily.. after that, (last lap) i like to view from inside so i can see who's behind me and i can block them from overtake me (hehe :) ) make sure i'm da numba one !

obviously the best camera view is inside the car when your driving. I don know I just can get the distance right when I am driving outside the car I seem to either break too early or too late it turning is a whole new story god I just go all over the place

I like the view from the inside of the car because you feel as one with the car and turns are a whole lot easier. :D :D The only bad thing is that you can't appreciate the coolness of you car because you can't see it.

There's two cars that I like to drive with the outside view on with. The Mazdaspeed RX-7 GT-C and the Vipers. There's one car I truly hate to drive with outside view on with, the Ford GT90. :yuck:

I generally hate the gt90

When they designed the GT90, Ford used it's new designing idea, "Edge design". It meant the use of hard-edged surfaces seemingly colliding with one another.

Got that out of a car book I've got. They weren't the exact words though.

Inside for 99% of the race, but I switch to the back of car and then the reverse view as I cross the finish line (unless it's a close race).

Hey, you ought to see the front of your own car at least once a race.

i drive from the outside... i like the outside better cause you can always see the turn and how close your car is to the wall and you know the second it starts to sleep cuz you see it slide out ;)

I drive on the outside mostly , cause I like to see my car It's sort also the higher off the ground your view is the easier it is to judge the distance to the next turn atleast for me it is and like pupik says I like to see the front of my car when I race ( I try to see how fart I mean far I can go looking back without crashing ya know using the "FORCE" . is it with you?

If the controller is the sony ps controller I prefer the far view from outside the car. It gives the illusion of mor time to set the car up properly for the next turn. If using my steering wheel (which so far is much harder) the driver's view from inside the car is better for it's increased ease of control

Second outside view for two reasons.
1. you can see your car
2. you can see how far your car is drifting and are able to counteract any major spin.
