GILLES VILLENEUVE is in the top of my list this is mainly to his driving style. I have seen videos of him racing daam that guy real love racing he never gave up.
OF the current drivers is Michael Schumacher

I've seen that video a few times now and the way he takes the car through Spoon is amazing.

Anyway, Senna, Gilles Villeneuve, Jim Clark, Jackie Stewart and Stefan Bellof are some of my favourite drivers (masses of natural talent and bravery from all of them), but of the current drivers it's got to be Schumacher. His speed and commitment (even in the 2005 Ferrari) are still mighty impressive, nevermind his stunning drivers early in his career (including, of course, Spain 1996, where he took the dog of a Ferrari and went more than 4 seconds quicker than Jacques Villeneuve at one point.

My favorite drivers:

Gilles Villeneuve
Ayrton Senna
Mika Hakkinen

and currently: Kimi Raikkonen.

Even though M. Schumacher has become the most successful race driver ever, he's not as amazing as Senna in my book, but he has done some pretty amazing stuff in his time and still does, esp. during the earlier years ('94 to '97) and even later on he can still pull some amazing moves. I liked Mika Hakkinen more than him though.

Yesterday for me the bests was Gilles, José Carlos Pace (Brazilian driver, killed in 1977 in a crash plane) and Emerson Fittipaldi; after go Nélson Piquet and Ayrton Senna (the best of all times !). Today, I´ll like of vote in Barrichello, but he don´t is very good, so, my vote goes for Kimi Raikkonen.

I was quite a fan of Damon Hill, especially in his drive for Williams. Pure golden moment when his Arrows overtook a Ferrari.

Wow.... I'd love to see that video :) (if there's any...)

Highlight of the year 1997 for Damon: He overtakes Michael Schumacher in the Ferrari to take the lead, and for the first time in history, it was an Arrows leading a Formula One race. The Hungaroring, the circuit near Budapest in Hungary, has always been one of Damon's favorite tracks. Damon built up a 34 seconds lead on Villeneuve with 3 laps to go, but it was not to be... the Arrows had technical problems and drove very slow, and finished in 2nd position.

The early laps proved that Schumacher was not going to drive away from Hill but the two left the rest behind, Irvine holding up his chasers. "I could see that Michael had blistered his tires and was going to have a problem," said Hill later.

After six laps Michael was indeed in dire trouble and Hill began to push him hard. For the next four laps Damon piled on the pressure. Irvine had already given up the ghost and came diving into the pits on lap seven to get new rubber, having blistered his first set.

Michael's reduced pace meant that he and Hill were then rejoined by Hakkinen, the two Williams cars, Coulthard and Herbert and for a while the top seven ran nose-to-tail. On lap 11 Hill made his move, pulling out and diving down the inside of Schumacher at the first corner. Michael left him no space but Damon was not in the mood to mess about with his old rival. Michael was not about to throw the car into a sandtrap trying to hold off Hill - unlike the previous encounter in Adelaide in 1994 - and Damon was in the lead.

Well, Schumacher's tyres were blistered...it was still a very good drive from Hill, but Schumacher was a sitting duck at that point.

Former F1 Drivers
- Mario Andretti (USA) (Champ Car Champion. F1 World Champion. Daytona 500 winner. Indy 500 winner. He could race anything!)
- Emerson Fittipaldi (BRA)
- Aryton Senna (BRA)
- Alex Zanardi (ITA) (I know he didn't do too well in F1, but he was absolutely amazing in Champ Car.)

Current F1 Drivers
- Scott Speed (USA)
- Jacques Villeneuve (CAN)
- Juan Pablo Montoya (COL)

Most of my favorite F1 drivers also raced Champ Cars (the real IndyCars). :)

I have a present for the Villeneuve fans. Check out these highlights of the 1994 Texaco/Havoline 200 @ Road America! For those of you who don't know... JV was a rookie Champ Car driver back in 1994. :)

Thanks, good memories! 👍

In Champ car he had quite an habit of pulling a win after having a few mishaps, which made them even more enjoyable, the most notorious being Indinanapolis 505. :D

best/favorite drivers? i say kimi of course, he would have had last years championship if not for the reliability problems. JPM is good aswell, and i think massa has great potential.. im obviously goin on recent drivers, i dont know a whole lot about the history of f1 im still learning, this is only my 2nd season of actualy being into this sport :dunce: :nervous:

 this gets better and better...

i think you not only need a lesson in F1, you need a lesson in social skills...

you are not telling anyone how it is because you are not capable of doing so...you have not only been schooled, you have been owned...by me...repeatedly

oh, and props on the joke...if thats your "A" material your in for a long and humiliating life...

believe it or not, i feel sorry for you...all you wanted to do was be an e-thug and look where it got you

I forgive you for being the biggest tool here. Unlike you I do have social skills. I was trying to point out something to you but you never got it. You were owned, by me, over and over, the thing is, just like all trolls, you can't accept it. You are the one who has been humiliated.

Haven't been on for a while but I still hope you're not a troll. End it here.

Let's just agree to disagree. You disliked Webber and were very harsh on him. I was disappointed in Webbers performance last season but I was more disappointed in Heidfeld who had the better chances and was unable to utislise them. I suck at arguing I admit, however you're the most annoying person I've come across. I've posted on multiple f1 sites and you are the only person I have found annoying.

I don't mind giving you a clean slate if you're able to understand my point of view and drop it.

With regards to the drivers I like,

I like Montoya for his aggression and driving style. As a personality I like Webber, he's blunt and honest on himself. For teams, I like Honda, their philosophy to motorsport is something I rate very highly.
