are you kidding me? those ****ing cartoons really have your mind messed up. the ae86 has 127hp, not even considering they are almost 20 years old. a HIGHLY tuned 4ag makes 200hp. thats pretty much the limit. a cobras limit is?
dont get me wrong, i like the ae86. its a fun car to drive, my buddy has one. but the cars are impossible to find. if you do find it, it will have 250k miles and had been used as a rusty commuter for the past 15 years. then it will cost 10k to get it reliable. by then i would much rather buy an e30 m3 for the same price. all of you dumb young initial d watching fools need to think before you speak.
and jdm type r, volumetric efficiency isnt everything. it means nothing but the state of tune of two engines. if you have 2 cars, same weight. and one has a 8 liter v10 500hp, and one a 2l 240hp i4, the 500hp car is going to tromp the other one. volumetric efficiency is just a number, it means nothing real. hp is hp.
that s2000 your talking about by the way has NO torque. have you ever driven one of them? haha.
someone could easily put $60k into a mustang and have it kill a viper as well. your thoughts are all one sided. wait, you know what? you couldnt put 50k into a s2000 and have it faster than a viper. when was the last time you saw an s2000 with more than 500hp? never? if you stay NA you would never make that kind of power. and uf you turboed it you would have to swap all the parts for low compression ones. i dont think ive seen an s2000 with that much power.
American made cars have 1980s technology and have to much displacement for the hp.
this is the EXACT thing all super street type mags are brainwashing you to believe. when you are a 14 year old kid, try and not to believe everything you hear or read. remember that the media often gives you wrong assumptions.
