For you Americans who haven't seen it.

And the sequel

The seat FR advert FTW! love the music and the background-great 'vert

I like the BK one where they explain how the Nascar teams have managed to deliver chicken into the driver's car during the pits...that's just hilarious.

EDIT: I found it :D , actually is not only Nascar but race cars in general.

Ciao!

LMFAO!!!
Love it!! have you seen the car showroom one too??

This has to be the best advert I've ever seen - awesome idea and brilliantly done... the first Sony Bravia advert - with all the bouncy balls in the streets of San Francisco was superb, but this one (set on a council estate in Glasgow, Scotland) is stunning....

Doesn't work for me, but... Youtube to the rescue!

Ahh yes... I saw that yesterday on the 50" Bravia at home :p Very good commercial!

All good ones, daan. 👍

While it's nothing spectacular, I kinda like this one right now:

The other Sony Bravia Ad.

I love that Tango ad, i think it was banned. Cus idiots like me ran around doing it :sly:

Tango's spoof to the Sony ad.

Guinness:

The most expensive

and an old fav:

There's some new TV show commercial that's using the same "In the Air Tonight" song in the States, too. Not as cool though....
Edit: Here it is:

Awesome Car Commerical

Unparalleled Slogan

and finally, cultural phenomenon

GT and Bud commercials are a lot better than I remembered. :D

If you were watching football today, you likely saw my two new favorite commercials:

1) That Samsung One When the Guy Dances

It pretty much says it all. Its an ad for their new HDTVs (I can't find it on Y-Tubez), and at the very end the dude dances in a red sweater because his team gets a touchdown. That dance? Yeah, same one I do when I get excited...

2) That McDonalds Ad with the Kid and the Boom-Box

Pretty much the kid gets down to that song that yells directions at you while eating apples out of his happy-meal. Freaking outrageous.

A 6.2 million dollar ad that took 3 months and over 600 takes to perfect. It's incredible... Here's an excellent comment from YouTube (such a thing exists) Read this before watching!

When the ad was pitched to senior executives, they signed off on it immediately without any hesitation - including the costs. There are six, and only six, hand-made Honda Accords in the world. To the horror Honda engineers, the filmmakers disassembled two of them to make this film.

There are no computer graphics or digital tricks in the film. Everything you see really happened in real time, exactly as you see it. The film took 606 takes. On the first 605 takes, something, usually very minor, didn't work. They would then have to set the whole thing up again.

The crew spent weeks shooting night and day. By the time it was over, they were ready to change professions. The film cost six million dollars and took three months to complete including full engineering of the sequence.

In addition, it is two minutes long so every time Honda airs the film on British television, they're shelling out enough dough to keep any one of us in clover for a lifetime. However, it is fast becoming the most downloaded advertisement in Internet history. Honda executives figure the ad will soon pay for itself simply in "free viewings" (Honda isn't paying a dime to have you watch this commercial!).

Everything you see in the film (aside from the walls, floor, ramp and complete Honda Accord) is parts from those two cars. The voice-over is Garrison Keillor. When the ad was shown to Honda executives, they liked it and commented on how amazing computer graphics have gotten.

They fell off their chairs when they found out it was for real... oh no J. And how about those funky windshield wipers...?? On the new Accords, the windshield wipers have water sensors and are designed to start doing their thing automatically... as soon as they become wet. It looks a bit weird in the commercial.

At cost of $6.2 million for 90-sec commercial, this is world's costliest ad and hands down winner in the world of ads. Amazing stuff anyway...

errr, yeah. Its the one in the first post of this thread.

2 Accords?

How come I see 5 batteries in the film?

Plus I don't think the oil can is part of the car. :p

my favorite commercials for the time being...

The Nike "Leave Nothing" commercial is totally awesome. You must see it in HD, it's the best football you have ever seen. That second commercial is pretty funny. I'd be the guy who takes off out of no where and try to score. :D

My favorite at the moment is the Bud Light commercial with the couple driving down a quiet dark two lane, and He spots a scraggly guy with a case of Bud Light.

Him: Should I stop? He's got Bud Light!!

Her: AND AN AXE!!!

Him: There's surely an explanation. (stops car) Hey buddy, what's with the axe?

Hitchhiker: It's a - a- a bottle opener.

Him: See honey! Hop on in:

Further down road driver spots another scraggly guy with a case of Bud Light.

Him: Should I stop? He's got Bud Light!!

Guy with Axe: AND A CHAINSAW!!

I've seen this commercial a bunch of times and it still makes me laugh.

I also, like the Bud Light commercial with the Pomeranians.

Duvel makes some pretty nice commercials:

The one from 2003:

The one from this year:

I absolutely love this last commercial.
The music they chose fits the ad very well.
It's Sarabande from Handel, but this version is newly recorded with the very best of Belgian musicians.
I can watch it over and over again, and don't get bored :)

My current favorite:

EA's NBA Live 08 commercial is pretty awesome in HD and I'm glad EA is using the PS3 version to show the game off at 60 frames:
