Im thinking about buying this game but I dont want to pay $70CDN for it if the only real mode it has is that career mode.

Are there any other cool features in the game that add to the value?

Thanks

Well, a 7 season carer mode, with tons of real-life info, even journalist interviews, which matter a lot as to your team, and other team's opinions on you. And realistic rules and penalties, and the most advanced weather system of any racing game of all time. Lots more stuff.

Plus an awesome, action packed online mode, although many of the people don't always speak English. IMO, I can't get enough of it.

But it's filled with bugs and glitches, which may come out and ruin those unfortunate victims, but that will be fixed very soon. I personally haven't experienced any yet.

Yeah that's all there is, ludicrous really. Codemasters could easily have added car mod's like adding neons under the cars or maybe a zombie mode like in Resident Evil. It seems like all they've made is an F1 racing sim.

They should of added some historic cars/tracks or something along the line of that.

It's called F1 2010 for a reason. You get to take part in the F1 2010 season.

To be honest i would have liked to see more customization of the cars, as in future r&d making visual changes to the cars, but other than that i can't see what more you could want or expect from this game.

A make/run your own team feature would have been pretty cool. Own liveries and name co-drivers. Trade drivers etc etc.

Monaco is quite a historic track IMHO. Oh and spa.
Ferrari has quite a history in F1 too I think.

What features do you want in a 2010 game.

Time trials.
Create a GP
Single race weekends.
2010 GP.
Career mode 3,5 and 7 years.

Various online modes.

Not much else too say really.

Oh and bugs.

Customisable current season cars, visually wise, will never happen with an official license.

The game has everything you want in game modes, plenty of other issues they need to sort before even contemplating new modes in the next iterations of the series.

as has been mentioned, some unlockable historic F1 cars would be great

i enjoyed those in F1:CE 👍

This F1 2010 game is exactly what it is, F1 2010 season.
With a team, a career, online mode and that is about it.

A bit like GT4, but then with the current F1 cars and teams.
It is not like Dirt2 with buggies or something. And I like it for that.
For 1970' s F1 cars, there are mods for different games. Solely for PC. Also nice. 👍

Yeah, that's what they set out to do, because that's what people wanted. Why taint the game with unwanted daft modes that nobody would want to play? We all looked forward to a decent F1 racing sim, and that's what we got. No more, no less. Nothing to complain about.

I'm confused, are you being sarcastic or honest here? :odd:

Tiny, shallow game....

Even yearly NBA games like NBA2k11 pack in a ton of content

!9 real life tracks, 24 car grid. Dynamic weather, fuel and tyre sim.
Dynamic track conditions.

Basket ball court, two hoops. Loads of stats.

Each to there own I guess.

You mean the ones they have been making yearly for some time so they have most of the main game done which leaves time to add more crap?

Have you played the first sports games that were released this gen? They are even more shallow than this game, they were basically a choice of a single game or a single season.

Things take time, especially annual games. Perhaps next year they will be able to add some more stuff as they have a big chunk of the game done.

For NBA2k11 not really....

How about every court on each NBA team's homecourt is different, plus their practise courts, a streetball court, Summer league and D League courts all with their own atmosphere with dynamic crowd levels. Every NBA player has the likeness of his real life counterpart. I would say modelling a human to look like a real person is quite a lot harder than modelling a car and there a lot more players than cars.

Tons of motion capped moves and plays.

The usual instant play, season and play off modes, multi year franchise mode that has the depth of a soccer sim management game, my player mode with indepth player creation that rivals the Sims and then some, and post game interviews with actual speech that does have an effect on gameplay, the newly added Jordan challange mode with a virtual Jordan that looks and moves like the real person.

Plus game commentary and presentation that looks like a real TV broadcast etc etc etc. There is a ton of things to do and see for a yearly game

Once again, they don't make a new game every year, they built from the previous version which gives them time to do all the other stuff. Go rent a copy of one of the first sports games of this gen and tell me what all is in it.

I really don't get a score of 116-145.
Anyhow it's called netball where I'm from.

Netball is different. Anyways no need to get into an arguement about it. F1 is better and that's that.

Oh man, had an epic F1 2010 zombie mode game night last night! Me and Hamilton blasting zombies with airwrenches on Monaco. It was sick. Then Montoya came in and TK'd me... wtf man????
