Based on the fact that KY has said in the past that
A. the Nurburgring wouldn't be in the game
well it is and we have al seen it.
B. That GT4 would be pushed pack if major liscenses could be obtained
Well GT4 is already a year overdue, and KY just pushed it back more, he said winter, sorry folks November isn't winter. Winter technically starts december 22nd.
Now add this stuff up:
PD has already put a Lambo into a game, granted it was taken out for the US release, but it was still there. So they already have a Daiblo car model.
And the PD staff was seen driving Porsches and Ferraris in GT4P, why would they tease the fans? And now we see these drawers, two of which have Ferrari and some folks are saying they can make out a Lambo or Porsche Logo...
Yeah KY said that Porsche Ferrari and Lambo wouldn't be in GT4, but he said the same thing about the Burg. So adding all of that up...I come to this....
It is a 50/50 chance of Ferrari, Porsche, and Lambo being in the game.
Evidence is leaning more towards them being in the game. Constant delays....
some can argue that they added drag and other modes and other cars, well how do we know if they just added drag or just decided to show it since it was missing in GT2? It's all very secretive but all of the delaying is very convincing that PD is adding some serious content here.....
To address yuor points
A, KY never once said that the Nordschleiffe would not be in GT4, he did asy that LeMans wasn't possible in GT4 due to the detail of the track the PS2 couldn't do it. There are many reasons why the Nord could be in a nd not LeMans, LeMans would require much more power to render in GT's detail since it has well over twice as much around the track, sure KY could do it if he made the track wth no scenery or just treelined all the way round like the ring, but the ring's like that in real life, LeMans isn't.
B, GT4 has never beeen pushed back since it hasn't had a release date before, Sony wanted the game out last christmas but KY said it would be out when it's ready, he never planed on releasing GT4 until it was done to his satisfaction. It is true that he said he would delay the game for major licenses like Ferrari and Lamborghini, but he also said it wouldn't be that big a delay if he would do such a thing.
C, the fact PD have a Lambo model, ie the Nomad Diablo GT, in no way hints at PD having a license for Lamborghini's, they got that car in the Japanese GT3 through the racing teams license, but Lamborghini forced PD to remove it since they needed a license from them. Also the Ferrari's ad Porsches seen on the GT4P bonus DVD were from a staff day out, nothing more. All PD did was film a staff day out and thats all we know about it, so reading anything more into it is pointless because even if Ferrari's and Porsche are in GT4, unless KY says so, we'll never know if there was any meaning in that vid besides it just being extra footage for people to watch.
It's is in no way a 50/50 chance, chance doesn't come into it, they can either legally get the licenses in which case I think they will, or the can't legally get them, in which case they wont. As for drag racing, thats been planned since GT2 so it's no after thought, PD will have planned that to be in GT4 just like they did GT2 and GT3, the difference is that they've spent longer on GT4 and been able to implement it to their satisfaction, PD did get to work on a drag mode in GT2, they had it in, but because it wasn't ready in time they removed it.
Finally, the delaying is nothing since the game hasn't been delayed, KY is doing his best to make GT4 as good as he can, sre theres going to be plenty of suprises and news about GT4 before it's release but we still haven't een the drift mode, tuning world or online modes yet and they will be seen as big news.
