The driver seems to be alright. But man... what do you do after spending money to acquire a recent Formula One car... only to have it destroyed in one afternoon.

eh... ok... umm... what the hell did he do? Was it just another rich corporate idiot that doesn't know how to drive?? :odd:

Something is fishy about that. How would the front nose section break off without the wheels being ripped off from the force of the impact?

And the barge boards are still in place, with the nose supposedly "ripped off". Either the marshals cut the nose off the get him out, or that is one poorly constructed knock-off Ferrari.

He must have been ripped off for that car. F1 cars are incredibly strong and designed not to do that. It doesn't look like a very old model. The monocoque should have stood firm.

*edit* oh my, something is a bit funny there. The front wheels are still attached, the marshals must have cut it for some reason, I can't imagine what though. It doesn't look like he has had an accident.

It's real.

Apparently this was the same car that Schumacher used in the British GP incident. Seems as though it didn't quite get repaired properly. The hit was apparently at about 50mph.

Reminds me of another incident recently, only it was a lot faster, with more limb removal. Damn idiot repair crew, fix it right!

Huh, wow, that's pretty crazy.

Seems as though it didn't quite get repaired properly....understatement of the year. Fortunately, he crashed at a comparatively slow speed; had he been travelling at a higher speed the consquences do not bear thinking about!

So how do you insure something like that? Any pre-owned warranty? :)
