I'd like to ask, because it is hard to tell on le sarthe, where is the boundary on the highway portion or the track? Can we race in the red zone or do we have to keep it on the black top? also the turn coming off of the highway section I am tempted to take it wide to get a better exit is this legal or do I have to stay with in the lines?

Like i have say no bull.
On the first chicane you can drive with 4 wheels about the cerbs.
But on the cerbs after the straights 2 wheels on track.
And on the last chicane also 2 wheels on track.

I don't know how the 2007 feels with my DFGT. Although from my DS3 I do know that it's more stable. Related video: Reckless me and Alonso in this other league from the PS3 forum. I love my starts :D.

Back then I didn't even understand the concept of the apex. I mainly thought of the rumble strips as shortcuts and you have to hit them all the time for faster laps! :dunce: I've come a long way, from December to now. Although I didn't think as logically until May.
 
Sorry I left last night. I was already feeling tired at the start. The race was too long for me last night.

Come to think about it, I think this will be the longest (distance) race I've ever done. Once did a 2hr race in Super GT cars round a rainy Nurb but It dont have nothing on this one.

Race is 1,35 hour gazzi good time like a real f1 race.

@gazzi- I know what u mean gazzi the track is mostly straights so it can get boring if your not around someone and when u are around someone the car its very easy to over shoot the turns as I found out last night while battling with u and twissy just wish I was up there with the leaders but I got caught up in a wreck in the first chicane.

@everyone- guys pls be mindful on sunday that the draft is pretty severe at this trk n u have to brake way early so u dont end up either ramming someone up the butt or over shooting the turn. I diodn't know tht last night and ended up spinning out Artmann on the first lap in the first chicane. sry Art tht was my bad dude ill try not to let it happen again.

Thanks for the heads up nobull, with no practice and the fact that this track is so different I might have made the same mistake, will brake really early.

Who is looking fast, what were the placements in the practice race yesterday?

Been really busy m8, about to change jobs so I don't have the time for practice, I should be able to make this weekend's race but might not be able to make motigi and maybe not next season, but I can always reserve drive (hopefully for a team who is good at tuning, which is my weakness because I just don't have the time). Last time I had time to practice and tune legitimately was monaco. If I link up with a series next it might be one with tuning restricted like SNAIL.

What were the results?

no we started with like 7 or 8. I was there but had to leave early to work on my race car gazzi,wilso n hugo were also there n left if u read my earlier comment about the warnings it will explain wut hapened to art. (i spun him unintentionally in the first turn). I guess karma happens fast because I got spun exiting the second turn.

Ah that's a bummer, sounds like an exciting track though, can't wait. I'll try to make it on when I'm home tonight and do a few laps with you guys so I don't wreck the field.

Technically that's almost halfway though, even though it's lap 13.
 
On another note its most likey gonna be a hard one to do a one stop .
Tires will do 15 laps but it being a high RPM circuit youll need watch fuel carefully.
