Artmann lagging badly, lol.
No wonder I got rear ended, my car was lagging as well (I'm the one in 4th going into the first chicane). Hopefully the 'new' PSN is more stable

It does seem to be a fair bit better. I did some Nascar races @ Daytona which are notorious lag-nests & it wasnt as bad as it usually is. We even had 2 lines going for a while. No wonder I got rear ended, my car was lagging as well (I'm the one in 4th going into the first chicane). Hopefully the 'new' PSN is more stable
I need to know if you guys are willing to race @ 10 PM GMT, so I can do the Indy 500 then this. Otherwise I'm going to skip The Indy 500 so we can do the F1 race @ Nurburgring finally after 4 weeks. I've signed up for too many races. I'm trigger happy.
Yeah I think I'll just keep it at the same time.Is it only this weekend? Changing the time might not work well with the network just getting back online. As you said, it may be hard getting the regulars to show at the normal time. That, and the GMT has been known to mess up people (me too). So you are proposing 4PM CDT? I think that would be fine for me (for this weekend).
Also on turn four or five there is some runnoff room is that legal, par the rules set out here? I think the fia considers it part of the track.
Here is Raikkonen's 2007 pole position lap, the part I am talking about is at 35 seconds into the video. You can clearly see all 4 tires are over the line.

yes but nothing over the kerb
over the line for sure because after the kerb it leads you to that line.
I'm going to open the room up at the usual time guys, 6:30 PM GMT, and we'll start quali a bit late at around 7:15 GMT to try and get some more in, perhaps D-UNEXPECTED & a couple others.
33 lap feature race (160 km) worth points..... And then maybe some messing around after than at some other tracks just for fun.
On lap 3 I was spun in sector one, I think on turn 3 or 4. I have to watch the play to see what happened.
Couple issues: The first corner incident with Leedona & Endless
The ABS: Not a big deal.....
ABS can be adjusted on the fly using wheel settings.... Its something however that makes no difference in lap times. I am not a nazi when it comes to penalties. The fastest guys in the GT time trials & Academy all use a setting of ABS 1 when ABS 2-10 are options. Its not a performance enhancer.....
Yes I used 2 ABS, yes I could give Artmann the win and penalize myself. A 20 second penalty? I think not. I might have very well gone even faster with ABS 1. Instead of choosing my own fate, I'd like Tool, Artmann, Endless, monster to weigh in since we do not have stewards nor an official race organization.
If the majority want to relegate me than so be it. We shall see.
As far as the first lap incident, I have not looked at it. I will by the end of the week and get some official results by next Saturday.
I won't be able to join any of the next races anymore because I'm at church during the event.
I'll take a 7 point deduction for the silly ABS. I'll give it to Artmann....
I havent checked out the Leedona incident. I might give endless a 2 place deduction for ABS+wreckless driving....that is if it turns out he hit Leedona hard enough.
