Remember guys, the next race is delayed because of Tool's cousin's graduation.

But the room will open up at the usual time for fun races. I'll do some 4 lap races to get people in the room, then maybe a 25 lapper at Madrid or some other track.

How about a race at La Sarthe? With some transmission tweaks I think the Ferrari's could run a close race there. Just make sure you choose to race in daylight

I'm thinkin' about Le Sarthe 05, 12 laps......depends on whether I can get a few people who stick in there for that long, lol.

I'm gonna log on later on tonight around midnight GMT, after I take a nap after the F1 race is over. I'm tired out from bike riding....I just ordered new bike, going to do some races...

during my testing on mediums i can tell for shure between 10-15 is optimum 20 would be stretch, by lap 10 my tires where 45-50% gone runnig 1:10s
back2back in an online room . in 40 laps if everyone does 3 pit stop we should have a quick pace during the race . illl a bit more testing today.

Testing COMPLETE

F2007 on mediums your 1st pit time should be at lap 18 + or - 4 laps

Good Luck Sunday

Oh Lord' somebody has commented on the thread. :sly:

I might budge and make it 38 laps. :sly: You see I try to make each dry race close to 50 mins. Apart from Monte Carlo & the rain race.

can i still join?

psn: darylcha
Yeah you can jump in on Sunday, add mustardaddict on PSN. Race will be around 11:30 AM West coast time.

hey just a few question about todays race, is it ok to race in automatic?. Are their any pit windows or can you pit when ever you want?,any tire regulations like using all componds during the race or can you just use the same compound?. Is their any limits on cars i need to know about? and i take it damage is on heavy. Ps sorry if im asking loads of questions im just making sure i know the rules

sorry guys i won't be racing today, i've change my mind so forget last post. Again really sorry

Thats ok green narcotics.

I for one hope the new DLC includes hot podium girls when I win!! :sly:

37 lap race today, Indy. F2007 mediums, F10 softs.

Pitstops are not mandatory you guys. On the first page it says the distances are made to cause the 1 pitstop per race for tires. But not mandatory....

Anyways good race, that was epic. Causing D-UNEXPECTED to quit half way though because he couldnt keep up! He was on a 2 stop strategy.

A scrubbed my front tyres to death in that race. I was barely keeping pace before we banged wheels on the third lap. It seems two stop was the way to go in that race, how Mustard kept the same set is beyond me.

I dont think that was fair Mustard, you said before we started this championship that you wanted to make sure that everyone gets to stop at least once for refueling, not for tyres if i remember correctly. Now, you say that they are not mandatory AFTER a race. You also mentioned that you wanted to make the race 40 Laps on one of your previous posts, had that been the case we would have needed more fuel to get us to the end. Now you tested this and you were the ONLY one that knew that we did not need to refuel, be honest now, had you shared that vital bit of information before the race people would have stopped? I was surprised when i stopped and there was no option to refuel, i thought that maybe you made a mistake but thought nothing of it until there were about 10 laps to go and i started to catch up.

Artmann, I will DQ myself to proove I'm not lying when I say this:

I did no testing & no practice or special prep before this race. Endless told me that they were struggling on tires so I shortened the distance by 3 laps to concede to their woes. I had no clue the F10 would be so easy on the tires.... D-UNEXPECTED was out front but stopped after just 13....So I decided to just go for it as a last ditch attempt to beat him.

My distant friend died while cycling in Norway this morning, hit by a car. so I felt like winning this race. Although I did not break the rules, I will sit this one out and give Artmann the win.

In future races pits are not mandatory though. Although I doubt I'll shorten any more race below 50 minutes regardless of tire complaints from the group.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend may he rest in peace.

it was a good race i had higher hopes though i fellt a bit off pace this morning but it was a good drive as usual my pit stops where where almost perfect one on 15 and 27 the secound one gave my the hell of a run on toolo i caught up and went passed him like wtf , its these long flat tracks tht ware your tires out where theres no track banking or elevation to help u out , and rich i wasnt complaining about tire ware i was gauging the tire distance haha i told people the best pit time was lap 18+ or - 4 but i knew it was less knowing the pace we where gonna be going espesialy tht crazy bastard
D-unexpected sets. as soon as he showed up i was like **** so much for a win here he set a 1:07.5 in qualli o_O good race guys .

Sorry I couldn't make it today guys, I woke up at 1:30. And Mustard I'm sorry to hear about you friend. :(

So let me get something straight. Mustard didn't pit at all during the Indy race? How did you do that on softs? What were your later lap times? I am not sure what lap times Endless was getting when he caught up and passed me, but mine were still in the 1:10's at the time. I passed him while he was in the pits, but obviously his tires were better for the remaining laps.

For the record the FP says "Race distance will be set to force 1 fuel stop for each car."

Can we stop inviting these flaky types to these races? What's up with these people who set lap times 2-4 s better than the 2nd best and then bolt half way through?
