Since this is posted in the GT5 forum, I'm guessing you are talking about in the game? In the game would be Lamborghini. I love that Miura and the Gallardo. However, in real life it's impossible to have a better car than a 288 or 308 👍

Lamborghini is just better in the game...

1:21,1 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 '11
1:21,8 Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SV '09
1:22,5 Ferrari Enzo '02
1:23,1 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 '08
1:23,2 Ferrari 458 Italia '09
1:23,2 Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640 '09
1:23,4 Ferrari 430 Scuderia '07
1:24,4 Ferrari F430 '06
1:24,5 Ferrari SP1 '08
1:25,2 Ferrari 599 '06
1:25,4 Lamborghini Miura P400 '67
1:25,6 Ferrari F40 '92
1:25,9 Ferrari California '08

(note that these are only the Premium models, haven't done a lap in the standard Lambos)

What track are the lap times from?

Ferrari for me. The Scuderia and 458 are two of my favorite driving street cars.
I've never felt very comfortable in any Lambo except the Miura. Gallardo is ok but the Murcie 640's front grip gives me no confidence.

The Aventador is one of my favorite cars in the entire game. It looks and drives like an F-22 Raptor, and I've even got mine painted up like one. (That Nero Nemesis paint is just sexy.)

For mine the 458 Italia is just relentless. Yes it gives up some horses to the bulls but it drives sublimely and has enough kick to keep the SV and Aventador honest. Horses for horses I think it maybe the best of what the two marques have to offer. Lap times only define certain elements and not the overall. But that's just my opinion. My nod goes to Ferrari in a split decision. Maybe adjusting performance to a benchmark pp/hp so all are the same and then run laps to give a better comparison.

What track are the lap times from?

Maybe FCG you wanna undertake my suggestion seeming you tested these already and are based on your skillset? I would be kinda interested to know:odd:

Deep Forest, bone stock, no oil change or anything.

Sorry FCG aimed at kekke2000

I don't see why you can't include Pagani in this? The other Italian super car company

Because that wasnt the question

You know, sometimes I don't get it i see people pick farrari because its iconic I'm not saying it bad I love farrari I am a lambo fan but I like farrari to just as well lambo looks better

Look what I found

Lambo mercialago top speed 212
Farrari 458 italia top speed 202

And the lambo does a quarter mile 0.02 seconds faster than farrari just shows how great of cars they both are

Both are iconic and fast

Ferrari hands down. At similar PP, the 458 is by far the best of them all, and I think the 430 Scuderia is faster than all the Lambos too. The Gallardo comes next and then the F430, F40, Murcielago LP640 and Countach LP400 maybe (depending on the track).

Big dissapointment is the Enzo, but I've been able to make it quite competitive at 550pp at the Nordschleife, though at 600 is worthless in any track that isn't La Sarthe, ovals or similar.

Ferrari is better represented but the mean performance level of the Lamborghinis takes the win. I'll always prefer Ferrari, less flashy exotic and more pure sporting machine.

I'm not sure how Shoe67 managed to lump the 308 with the 288 (maybe similar body styling, similar naming system, and similar era), but yeah, the 288 is about as hardcore as it gets. I mean come on, an engine similar to that of the F40 in a car with less overall stability? I'll take three.

My Aventador is Nero Nemesis also :dopey:

Wrong a lambo mercialago is faster than 458

Wrong, a Lamborghini Murcielago is faster than a 458.

According to the Nordschleife lap times board, the 458 laps quicker than the LP640-4 but not quite as fast as the LP670-4, so due to the lack of specificity to the above statement, I'll give it to the Lamborghini. However, the post that the above post was a reply to stated "At similar PP," and at 582PP, the LP670-4 is quite a bit higher than the 458 Italia (565PP).

On looks I'd go for Lamborghini any time. For sheer lunacy I'd go for Lamborghini as well. Since PP is worthless to me I have yet to find a car stock or tuned (from the companies in question at least) that drives better than the LP 670-4 SV. The 458 is a little too boring for me. And it's not what I'd call pretty, but that's just personal taste.

I also adore the styling of the Miura and Countaches. The 25th Anni. Countach is a rather good drive as well. In real life I'd still go for Lamborghini. Though Ferrari has the history, I'd still go for a Lamborghini 350GT over even a Ferrari 275, which is my favourite Ferrari.

I just wish PD had added the Diablo SV and the old GTO models from Ferrari to Gran Turismo. And what about the Testarrossa (excuse the likely incorrect spelling)? It'd be brilliant to have the old competition between the last countach and Ferrari's new competitor!

Exactly. At 550 and 600 pp, the 458 is faster than the LP670, or than any other Lambo for that matter.

I meant in a straight line lol
