Since this is in the GT5 Q&A section, I really don't understand why there's all the talk of cars catching fire. When was the last time you saw a car catch fire in GT5? This managing body talk is nonsense as well. Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft owns Lamborghini through Audi, and Fiat S.p.A. became a Ferrari shareholder in 1969, now owning 90% of the company.
Ferrari is better represented in the game, but the mean (average, not malicious) performance level of the Lamborghinis is higher due to the nature of those cars represented. Lamborghini offers us MR and M4 (4WD) while Ferrari has laid out FR and MR choices, so your tastes in drivetrain may dictate your decision, and we all know that styling plays a big role in car preference, so you have to consider Ferrari's flowing lines (on average) and Lamborghini's aggressive, angular edge.
The former really has no business being argued over in this forum.
The post above this (which I didn't see prior to beginning this reply) reminded me of the premium F2007 and F10 and the standard F2007 (silly me, I was only thinking about road cars) and Enzo, which when thrown into the mix, really affect the average performance level.
