Oh god… Apricot Hill. You make me cry. What was wrong with Grand Valley? :p

As for suggestions…

Well, the qualifying / racing format is great. Especially over two weeks. You can take part with as little as an hour or two a week so it really isn’t a big commitment.

Maybe we could have a little more power in qualifying (3–4%), such as qualifying engines back in the day. But then qualifying times are so much faster than racing times anyway, so it’s not really necessary.

Races are a good length. Any longer and it would be hard to have a clean race. With the competitiveness of guys like TheInternet and RACECAR it was impossible to win if you made any mistakes. For Motegi you should make the race distance a little longer because of the high average speed. Otherwise it will be over in 10 minutes. :p

What points system are we using?

I look forward to the next season. Team Silver Arrows will be back. I’ll be celebrating the 2007 season by driving for Ferrari in the red FGT. ;)

Looking good so far. I don't see anything that I don't like so Its all good to me:tup: And I Will take over blake's former ride at Team Silver Arrows so watch out everyone:sly:

Something about the curbs in Grand Valley's turnnels told me this track wasn't the best for the Gran Turismo GP, but if you guys want the series to return there then OK with me 👍

I think at 40-50 laps the race at Motegi should last around the Formula GT average, which is 20 minutes.

We will use the same points system as Formula 1, but the difference is you get 1 extra bonus point for pole position

All right, red livery it is. Can you confirm Eagle as your teammate and the final team name? No rush on any of this, of course.

That will be an interesting move

EDIT: Record book is updated

EDIT2: In the signup thread I will include a pole to decide which Original track should host the Gran Turismo GP.

I was joking. Doesn’t much matter to me.

Final team name: Ferrari

And yes, I’d like it if Eagle could drive with me. If he has to wait until the 30th to sign up that’s not a problem, either.

What about Fuji Speedway 80's? I might have missed it from the last season signup, but why such a short season? Not that I can complain. Since I'd rather there be no breaks a la real F1.

The current schedule is locked, outside of the Gran Turismo Grand Prix. Fuji Speedway 80s is a great track, and most likely will get the Japanese Grand Prix next season. Now if you're wondering why there isn't a preseason test at Fuji 80s thats a different deal

The season is short to keep interest and attendance high throughout the season. 7 races = 3 1/2 months of racing. 10 races = 5 months of racing. In my opinion, asking somebody to commit to a Gran Turismo 4 online racing series for nearly half a year is too tall of a task.

The races are short to keep the 'sprint' feel seen in Formula 1. The distance is also usually far enough to allow for 2 pit stops.
