Get a wired connection, or put your PS3 in your router's DMZ. You can also open ports, but it's mostly for extreme situations.
 
Hey Immortal, it looks like GT Academy is making a return early this year. Maybe PD will follow the tradition of GT6 by allowing Skid recovery for all the GT academy TTs!
 
I hope really he banned this joke Skid recovery for the Academy
 
hi guys, sorry i didn't finish the race but i had work in the morning. starting time for practice is going to be too late for me i think:grumpy:. it would be a 2 or 3am finish and i got work at 7am so not good. ill try get mondays off but then its money down for me:banghead:.

Now that we are taking out the sprint race, it would be 1:15 finish time, would that help?

the thing about being a med-field driver, is that you can have a incident free race all by your lonesome :-)
 
Thinking about trying to get immortal, arty, team, & Jb & Swiftsmith, etc in for some thursday running, I'm supposed to get 10 inches of snow where I live. :( When will spring ever come, never when you live in the arctic circle. :lol:

Better indeed, that race was tiring on my man-parts, but it's probably because I was wearing jeans. :lol:
 
Out of interest, what times are you guys getting at Silverstone I'ntl?

Just got an FGT and I usually have it tuned to a rough GP2 spec, so it'd be cool to have some marker points.

I recall IP's fastest being 49.8, mine was 51.5. Most guys turned 50.x.

Took the liberty to snap this while checking the replay. I thought it looked cool.
 
Well it sounds like some hacking has gone on already in GT6, very sad.

I'll be logging on in 1 hour or so for some running if anyone's around. I was racing with leyba08 last night and there are still plenty of colored F2007s and F10s, although I think that the F10/F2007 hybrid car isn't around perhaps...

EDIT: I logged on but nobody was around so I'm gone for now, be back late tonight maybe.

Race Director Notes​
Again, big thanks to all who attended. Of the drivers who didn't attend, not one of you notified me ( @swiftsmith , @Squatch14 ). If I do not hear from you by before next race, I will assume you have lost interest and I will move you to the reserve drivers group. Overall, apart from the delays, I think the event went pretty well. A note to the drivers though: Guys, if at all possible, please show up sooner than 5 min before quali. We will be having a second Pre-Season race on April 27(Details about this will be released at a later date in a drivers brief). This is to make sure everything goes smooth in the actual season. Also, please note that we have removed the sprint race portion of the race event. Another rule change: there seems to be a problem with viewing the tire everyone is in while watching the replay. This makes it hard to determine if people are following the tire rule. Because of this, you will now have to only complete 1 lap on the hard tire(I will set the room regulations to require a tire type change). If you fail to use the hard tire, you will be disqualified from the race. @teamdbw You will need to pick a color that nobody is using, and a team name. Sorry for this taking so long, but that's what happens when nobody reports any incidents.

Pit entry notes:
Pit entry is on drivers right before the Ford Chicanes. WARNING: There is a chicane in the pit lane that you must drive through. You ARE NOT permitted to cut it under any circumstances.


Pit exit:
You rejoin track on drivers right in the sweeper before the Dunlop chicane. There is a white line on the left. You ARE NOT permitted to cross that line. Also please note that since you are rejoining in the middle of a corner, you may encounter traffic. Under no circumstances may you impede the cars already on track. It is YOUR responsibility to make sure you enter the track safely.


Penalties:
There are no penalties this round.

Other Notes:
Weather settings will be released closer to actual race date to get an accurate result. I realize Sarthe is bumpy. I've tested it though, and I think it's ok to race on with the FGT. There are at least 2 noticeable bumps however. The first being after the exit of the Dunlop Chicane. The 2nd, and more severe, is in the middle of the first chicane on the Mulsanne. If you carry to much speed into the corner, the bump could cause you to understeer into the wall on your right, or spin. Please use caution going through these specified areas. As usual, good luck to everyone.
 
Immortal's F10 series in GT5 used to do LeMans, I never got to do it though. Come to think of it I dont think I've ever raced F1 cars in a GTP race at Circuit de la Sarthe. This should be fun! This is what the F10 race looked like back when draft was stronger in the old days:

 
Immortal my trophy finally came today, nice one. It looked like it barely survived the journey though the psycho customs security though, I'll have to glue on that top peace but its pretty cool, too bad you cant provide trophy's again here?
