General Information:
In the first season of this series, we will have 1 class, GP2. As we gain drivers, we hope to expand to FX(Formula X), and GP3. Eventually we hope to have a fully functioning, 3 class league, with the fastest drivers in FX, the next best in GP2, and then GP3. To progress up the classes, and eventually earn a spot in FX, you must demonstrate great race craft and quick pace. Just because you got moved up doesn't mean you're secure there! If you fail to show that you have the abilitly to preform at a higher level, the stewards could decide to drop you back down a class.

Information on Cars and Classes:
The only class that will be used for this season is GP2. In GP2, we will use the Formula GT de tuned to regs similar to a real GP2 car, and will allow lap times to be near to that of a real GP2 car. In FX, the cars used will be Red Bull standards. However, they will be tuned to near F1 regs so they produce lap times similar to a real F1 car. The car used in GP3 is undecided yet, the Red Bull Junior is a possibility.

Again, big thanks to all who attended. Of those of you that didn't, @sickassasin87 and @DrAug didn't notify me. The next race is at Daytona Road. I am going to do some testing to see if the lights are good enough that we can do a night race. A drivers brief for that will be released in the next few days. Due to some people not attending many races, or getting disconnected a lot, I have made some changes to the teams, in order to have a closer fight in the teams championship. These changes have been noted below. If you have been changed, you don't need to buy a new car to get the correct color, just keep using the one you have.

I like the idea of the 3 classes. So the series will be run with no ABS?

 

Correct, since real Formula Cars have no ABS.

 

Gonna have to practice quite a bit then, I'm a little too used to ABS.

 

It shouldn't take to long to figure out

 

Definitely a nice change of pace. It will create some interesting lock-up situations from time to time.

Any idea on what tyres we are using? Racing Softs? Sorry for double post but this alerts people.

 

Depends on the track. It will either be RS and RM, or RM and RH. Just like real life Prime and Option tires

Was talking with a friend and came up with this:

For the GP2 car we could run stock weight, tuning prohibited and have the HP reg lower(you can use power limiter with tuning prohibited). That way it would have lower DF(like real GP2), and since there is no tuning in real GP2 it would be closer to real life.
