just a note, did you see the post snake made earlier re your accident with him on the pace lap on Monday.
I watched the replay, and you did get lag again.
Just asking, have you cleared the cashe on the game settings ? maybe doing that before you join the room may help ?
 
... yes I clean the cache before each race. My network is not stable enough. I think in full rooms it is more sensitive.
I'm looking for how this can be optimized.

if it happens again under the pace car lap , please message SC and that will give you a chance to pit when we go past the pits and repair and join the back of the pack and we will do a second pace lap, we dont want lag spoiling anyones race.

You can open ports for gt on your router, I done it for mine last year. It works well I thought and a quick Google will bring you all the info needed and how to do it

Make sure to shut down you pc and to switch off smartphone wifi connections, tablets etc etc, even if the seem idle they mess on their own with net and routers... WiiU and ps4 for example can self connect to the net on their own...

If we were to change the series event time and move the times to either 15 minutes or 30 minutes later would this be a problem for drivers.

qualy time start to 18.15 uk time
race start time to 19.00 uk time

No preference

Moved 15 minutes later
qualy time start to 18.30 uk time
race start time to 19.15 uk time

Moved 30 minutes later
qualy time start to 18.45 uk time
race start time to 19.30 uk time

Let me know guys asap as if we can make it easier for all that would be great.

Around 1900-2000 , sorry I cant give an exact time , I am still fighting the sickness as well

I guess going from 0 degrees to 30 degrees then back to 0 degrees will do that , good thing we have some time before the season starts

Hi guys , sorry I have been absent in this thread for the last few weeks .

When I do get more involved in the racing I will also share my setups with everyone and I am always available for advice .

I am one of the guys that talk too much in the lounges so If I annoy anyone just let me know :)

Once the series starts proper i would suggest we stop sharing setups ? only my opinion, by the time we get there in 2 weeks time most should have an idea of what they need with the sharing we have had the last few weeks and up until the first official Race 1 ?

I am fine either way , I am not a good tuner so my setups are usually the same for every car . Very silly I know but I just like to drive , I am too lazy to setup a car every round/track .

I usually just adjust the downforce and final gear.
