Anyone have had a go at RBR yet? This forum always slow down in the mid days?
 
RBR is one of my favorite tracks, but this car is undriveable there... my best was a 28.1 but can't make 6 laps without a spin or crash.

I'll try to be there too.

I can control the car so badly that i might choose to sit in boxes after being lapped to avoid being a moving danger O_o i was pretty shocked in yersterday's training.

BTW, I expect the usual guys to go round in 25s ;)

Surely you can get it sorted dude! Don't pull out! Precious points are on offer!

Need to find a spot to setup my rig, G27 is still in its box so not sure how soon I'll get to laying some times down just yet!
My boss is also threatening to change my roster so I'm unsure if I might even be able to enter next weeks race or not just yet... Will be finding out very soon :(.

My weights at 1290.
I actually sold my soul to the easter bunny many years back. When I win a race, I find a chocolate egg by my bed at night :p But when I lose he puts a rotten egg under my pillow :crazy:

Ok some news, my city was smashed by incredible winds up and over 150km/h.

Trees lie in the roads, some parts of the city lost power and phone lines are damaged and unstable.

Most factories had their roof destroied or damaged and the small one and family driven one where i work had severe damages. Same happened in my city where most of the industrial district already proven by the economical crysis already struck hard since 2001 on.

I fear many will close down production after this mess and i'm not very positive about my family's one.

Even the ancient medieval city walls were damaged.

We really didn't need any of this, either the city, me and factory. When i get some internet i'll post some photos.

Gosh, thats awful, your bad luck continues, i am sorry to hear Karsten, i hope all turns out well.
 
Update

Internet seems to be back. Not sure about how well it work. Posting some pics of our factory situation before the even stronger winds made it far more dangerous.

Other sections of the roofs joined those and we'll have to wait for the firefighters to come and take care of all the dangerous parts. That praying it won't be raining for many days else out electric based machines will be ****ed up.

And also crossing fingers for insurance companies not being assholes too, obviously... >_>
 
Wow, looks like they are quite modern panels that have come down, rather than old ones, must have been really windy.

What is it you produce there Karsten ?
 
We work on tissues, coupling of tissues, fashion effects like those golden and metal effects, we apply Transparent films on tissues to make them water proof, engrave tissues and "fake leather", apply pailettes, etc etc
 
Where do you live in italy karsten? My dad heard about the storm weather, and told me. Were your area also hit by the massive rain?
 
Tuscany, no we had no rain, that was an issue in deep south. We had crazy winds they say up to 170kmh in the news.
 
Damm you are lucky. I just saw pictures of the areas where there were water damaged. Good you dont live there. I've been to Toscany many times when i was little, nice place. Have your own house taken damage?

No my flat is ok, my parent's one has issues on roof too.

Most of the damages were on factories.

BTW i'll try to relax a bit on track anyone will be around?
 
2nd in the world on the Nascar time trial at indy road course and 1st in the world for not using active steering to cheat a good lap :D lol pretty happy with that!! Haven't really taken part in a tt properly in a while.

Hi Guys I'm new to the series my name online is ABSOLUTE-BEAST01. I struggled in the last race onlystarted practicing 20 mins before the room opened and it didn't go well. Ive been practicing for the RBR race and the fastest I've got is a low 1.27. I think I'm a decent driver who can drive long runs with no dangerous off's but this track is quite treacherous especially if your driving right at the edge for extended periods so i expect allot of spins and crashes due to that. At least that is what happened in in the 3 practice races we did yesterday with LOGIC and Kossu. I seriously recommend people think about dropping the damage for this race as after the first 10 laps id say at least a third of the field will have been in some sort of dangerous slip up or resulting contact. I think the nurburgring and other rounds will be fine its just this one which seems abit dodgy.

Well, Kun, we will keep heavy damage as thats the rules, it will means that at no time in the race people will be safe, that will keep it interesting right to the last lap.
Its the job of the guy begin to ensure that he does not have any contact with the guy in front.
Also the practice races we do dont translate it the way we race, there are always a lot more crashes etc in practice races, in th e real races everyone is much more careful.

Anyway, rules are heavy damage and we have raced at other tricky track already, just make sure you dont put yourself in a position where you touch anyone if front.
