What has been said of the AM stewards and other officials? Have you picked out anybody yet?
 
Pre-season details will follow once car choices have been made. Only a few left now.

I will be joining the AM room for the pre-season races to have a look at potential candidates, The first thing we need to do for the AM room is find a suitable host for the room, then we can worry about stewards

Is there is a tiny chance to start race at 7 pm?I know there's a voting about this but I would not be able to race at 8 as I have to be in my car 9.45 pm to get to work between Tuesday and Saturday.

Well how about this. So far it is only AM drivers who have voted for the earlier start time. And having the later start time will allow Litchi to join the PRO room to fill the final slot. So, how about the AM's start the race at 18:00 GMT, PRO's at 19:00 GMT. Any objections?

When is the first preseason race?
 
May not be there on account of a much more important race for my virtual racing career. :lol:
 
Is pyrates already teamed? If not, I pick an SLS with him as my teammate. If yes, I pick a GT-R.
If both are unavailable, I'll watch later tonight which car is available. On my phone now, I hate to browse GTPlanet with, pages are quite longer to load than on my Mac. (It's an old iPhone 3GS :p)

As I always do in series I'm involved in, I won't test the cars before picking, I trust you guys made a good job on specs. So I'll pick the SC430 only if I'm allowed tu use the Denso Sard livery, not the base model. I know, I'm annoying sometimes :D.

EDIT: And I want a "dislike" button for your post just above. You have stolen my teammate! :(

For all you AM drivers looking for seat time. This is the " Baby" of WGTC. A spec is similar to our cars and B is a spec tune able fun car to drive. Current drivers include Velocity, Nail, and Tenderly. I'm in B, the others are in A. The series I am introducing is the GSCC the "Feeder" series one step below us , which has just revised its B spec to a semi Spec series with all driving the same car but tuning allowed and with a selection of tunes provided for guys like me who think tuning is like Dressage....interesting but not a spectator sport :lol:. This is US based and runs Thursday nights at 1030...

Series Update

Specs were updated late last night, so here is the post making it official!

Group B will now be a one - make spec class. The car we will use is the Nissan Slivia S15 Touring Car. Here it is:



With the required upgrades needed, the car costs around Cr. 160,000. Great and inexpensive way to get into get into what will be a very competitive class! We are aiming this at newer drivers, or drivers who are not as experienced with online racing. But anyone who wants a good, hard race is welcome to join! This class will still follow the pits stop rules; two stops, and must use both a set of RS and RM tires during the race.

Tuning will be allowed for this class. Some of the more experienced guys, myself included, will provide base tunes for this car that drivers can use and tweak on for themselves. We are currently working on a Google Doc. with all of the information in it.

July 10th will be the first race at Silverstone with the new specs. There will be practice rooms set up during the week leading up to it, keep an eye on the forums for information on that. See you guys then!

Calender Update

With the new class coming in, there will be 3 rounds added to the calender! Year end points will now be best 5 out of 7, points from the finale will not be dropped. The new tracks are:

Red Bull Ring
Laguna Seca
Fuji GT

Calender will be reworked to fit these in. The regular season finale will still be at Motegi. The bonus event will now be on the Nordschelife.

One more thing...

I will not take drivers off of the sign up list for those who are still committed to the series. For Group B drivers, just let me know that you are still interested in staying in this class. All drivers can reclassify if they would like.
