Well done to all FGTA Drivers who took part. For anyone looking for some more endurance racing, I point you to the CORE N24, where we have some drivers taking part in again next year. Its a fair way away at the moment, but gives you plenty of time to get organised.
 
One last thing before you go @gtpcaine. What times were you getting at GP/F? 50s and maybe 49s, right?

Also, I am looking for a team-mate in the CORE WEC. The WEC runs on alternate weekends to WGTC and has a lot of WGTC drivers racing in it. Unfortunately there is a WEC race this weekend, which will clash with the PRO lobby for our pre-season test. But it's definitely worth a look for the remainder of the season.

WEC races are usually 2 hours long, same as here, with the mixed classes being LMP and GTE. The next two events, Silverstone and Spa are 3 hour special event races awarding double points.

CORE and the FGTA are working together on aspects of the N24 next year also, we will be hosting the RMT (Renault Megane Trophy) series which will be a support act for the VLN and the final round will be part of the build-up on the livestream of the N24 itself.

Get yourselves involved, it will be good fun!

I think he is looking for a team mate. For example WEC has one race on Saturday, and one on Sunday. Because of our(WGTC) race on Saturday(and not being home), I will race on Sunday in the WEC, and my team mate will race on Saturday.


Edit: or maybe I'm wrong, and he is looking for a reserve for himself.

No is the simple answer.

The WEC has two races at each event, one on Saturday, the second on a Sunday. One driver does race 1, the other race 2. The times and lap count get added together to determine overall positions after both races.

My previous team-mate has just had a new-born so has had to pull out of the series. He done the Saturday race and me the Sunday. So I am looking for a team-mate who can race either day for the remainder of the season.

So obviously this weekend I am doing the Sunday WEC race, but I can have a part time reserve driver do the Saturday until I find a more permanent replacement.

Meh, WEC is no different to this really. Especially as I am a GTE driver. The LMP aren't too much to worry about, just make them do the hard work!
 
Oh I see. Well, as I help to organize GTWC (and i plan to run in the series as well). I won't be able to run on Sundays for CORE when GTWC starts.

It's not so much as racing there, but staying the rest of the season. If I were to do just a one-off, I'd step in.

As Caine said, it's exactly the same as this if you drive in GTE. Don't worry about LMP's, just hold the normal racing line and let the LMP do the work.

You are more than welcome to be my team-mate this Saturday if you can. Only issue for you, is as soon as the AM pre-season race ends, you would have to leave straight away and do the WEC race, so 4 hours in total!
