Hey I'm not going to be able to make it to the race I work at 2pm EST it's just not enough for me to make the whole race.

Wicked lap there PB, hitting those apex's like a true professional m8. Nope, i cant match your time yet but not revealing how close :)
 
Sorry all for being away without notice recently. I've had a lot on at work and by the time it comes to race I'm in the land of nod. I think it'd be best to take me off the starting line up if you haven't already and if I can make a race I'll let you guys know.

a few corners the execution was a bit rough, so if you smooth those out , you should be breaking 1 min
i havent even practiced yet , so no idea what i can do
 
Thanks.Working on smoothness.....that lap was a 1 off....its easy so you wont need any practice,ill tell ya the winning strategy..O.K.

Ooh err gents, aiming for 5th today. Cant get close to the times iv seen, should be a good race though. Cant wait!!!
 
cant race in the championship sadly my gt5 save got messed up overnight somehow....
now to regain all 500 of the cars i liked and my money ugh...
i still have my lvls but not my cars is that common?

Ive neva heard of it,although i have a thumbnail problem with mine after stuffin around with saved data.Im being very carefull now.i got 300 od thumbnails to do...grr
racin soon.dont worry bout my lap times coz i cant do em consistantly,struggle puttin 3-4 together...
 
Shame Skate, thats us down to 8 now! Had 4 pull out but for good reasons so im not complaining. Good luck getting your saved data back, if you manage it before the race, join in.
 
Race room opens in 15 mins.
Oh and we might make 10 now, as long as we get pamp, who has been very quiet of late!
 
Yep, amazing race, just getting towards the end of the replay. The new guys raced really clean fair play. Laguna is so unforgiving if you touch the sand.
Cant wait for next week after todays dramas :)
 
Have decided to put peoples best laps in with the results. I was wondering whether anyone thinks it would be a good idea to have seperate qualifying sessions before the race and just have a practice on race day. Let me know.
 
Yeh,might give us with poorly tuned cars that go loop de loop after a few laps to bang in a quick lap and taste sucsess,just chuck some fresh tires after a few qualifyin laps and try some more.then newies again,try again..Yup,that b fun

I still dont know how you and neth got a 1.00 lap, i did 25 practise laps thursday, and 50 laps in the race and still my best was 1.02. I just couldnt squeeze any more out of the car, iv hired a ninja to sneak into your houses and steal your tune :)

Well that is far off my possibilities :D
Offline I did a 1:03.717 as my peak time, but with that tune I couldn´t do consistant laps.
I run 1:05s 1:06´s and 1:07s/08s nearly the entire Race. (I spun 3-4 times and had a major Burnout out of the last turn xD)
And Pagey could have overtaken me if the End Timer would have been a few seconds longer because my Tires where halved (31 Laps are maybe too much xD).


After the Race I saw that SRF wasn´t disabled. Is it always disabled ??
Because I´m driving w/o SRF and TCS and I´m using a DS3 :D
Maybe I´ll try too run the next race with SRF maybe I´m faster with it ;)

And some of you are using Automatic Transmission and are way faster than me => respect I can´t drive fast with AT
 
^^ think overall you had pretty good setup yourself to do 25 laps on softs and overall running that bit slower and looking after your tires seem to work better. I'm not sure about qualifying on a seperate day depends what day. But think if you did do that it would be cool to make it more like real F1 qualifying with Q1 Q2 and Q3 that way its a wee bit more interesting. Ps I've heard those ninja's are expensive i hope you put it down as expenses lol

Yes the only thing disabled is the ASM, you are free (and its recommended) to use SRF and any of the other aids. This is so the race is inclusive. I was concious of my tyre wear throughout the race and ultimatley thats what won the race for me. I had 3 spins in the race, normally when looking behind for the ultra fast nethereal!!! :)

I tried 3 different set ups but in the end just stuck to my usual with a transmission set for acceleration. Yes the FIA pay for the ninjas :)
 
if anyone in the last race wants to see some intense catchup driving (was pushing to the limit 90-95% of the time) , have a look at my laps from 35-50
i made up around a minute of time there, with lap 36 being the 1'00.8 lap i think.
lost count of how many offs i had in the first 5 laps - somewhere around 6-7
thats what no practice until race day gets me! :)
