I can see that the focus has already changed to the green hell. Monza seems like it will just be one long drafting battle, I hope:)

A great lap around the nurb should be probably sub 5 mins, but most will probably be around 5:30 with a spin or two in between.

P. S. Maybe we should play the jaws music before we start the race at nurb:lol:
 
Etid- Look out for the peelers mate, they will pour your amber nectar down the drain bud :)

Ronin- There are a few nervous murmurs from the crowd abour NB24, I am not concerned and think it will be a great laugh but some huge crashes. Sub 5 mins on the 24 hour version? Are you sure sir!

Oops, I was talking about the north loop. Don't know about the 24 hr, sorry. Probably looking at mid 6 min laps.
 
Ok so we are looking at roughly 1 hour and 45 mins for the winning car? Maybe a bit longer, wow thats a beast of a race! Pagey knows his way round this track too!
 
I did 3 laps last night in the mid 6 minutes,only ABS and SFR..Drove a lap in the dark for fun-mid 7 minutes,i loved all the tents lit up around the track and they were welcomed for the light they provided as i only had the driving line on too see where i was going.Very bumpy too in parts.245 mph almost hit the limiter down the straight..

has anybody tried this tune from Praiano,ive learned alot from his tunes,a hell of alot infact.
 
Hey guys I'll be practicing today and tomorrow for Monza, can't wait! Last night was quite funny, there were a few fights, and police. At one point me and my mate had to squeeze through a bush while the police ran at the crowd of about 150, and we all split up. Quite funny! I will have a go at the Nurbo 24hr later to see what it's like. I have good knowledge of the braking points, and which corners you don't have to drive round after racing round it over 500 times I reckon.
 
PB- How did you get a chance to look at the views at that speed mate, just going to have a look at that tuners page now as the most I have ever got out of an FGT is 237mph without a draft. Maybe it was downhill :) I think the track is very driveable with regards to the surface but you will have to be 100% precise witht the overtaking.

ETID- If I manage to sneak online ill join you, you lot sound like something off cops with cameras. 150! Thats quite a party mate, I bet the rozzers wanted to get you back to the cells for a good kicking :) So far I have observed that there is 5 drivers with intimate knowledge of Nurburg24. Neth, Pagey, Ellis, Ronin and you now. Once again will probably be down to who stays on the track.
 
Just a tiny little Off-Topic:
Yesterday was mixed Racing.
Last Race Fiat 500-Ball (me in the Team with the none English speaking german. Who doesn´t speak English nowdays ??).
After that I told him how to disengage the clutch. (Handbrake etc. you know it)
After that we changed the Track (La Sarthe without chicanes) he used his X1 I drove the 500
=> 431kph at my maximum speed (SCARY as HELL !!!)

Bonus: I spun out at 380 kph and stood front to front with his X1 => he started pushing me reverse => 350kph reverse xDDD

Maybe I´ll test tonight (but it´s a big maybe).
 
KS- haha, I never thought of that, I will definatley try it next time, sounds awesome! How do you disengage the clutch?
 
If you have a Wheel with H-shifter => no problem with that xD

But with a DS3 or a Wheel without Clutch-Pedal:
Press the hand brake untill the Rev´s drop to minimum. After that don´t press the Trottle again.
=> no speedlimits :D
I do it right at the Start (Accel 1st and then I short shift into 4th and shortly press the h-brake => viola revs at minimum ;))

Thought espacially you knew it (because your almost everytime in the winning Team ;)).
 
Sweet! Ill give it a go next time, I manage to get the fiat to 130mph on the last straight with steady steering but if the car is in neutral it should go quicker. Cheers.
I only win when I am in the GTR, I am better at pushing and fighting :)
 
I do know the ring quite well, but ive never done it in a FGT, so i may be spending a lot of time backwards or bouncing through the gravel traps.
Looking forward to tomorrow though, should be close with the long straights :)

Yes, back on subject everyone has forgotten about Monza which should be a cracking race. Only problem is I have 17 confirmed. I am 99% sure not everyone will be there but if they are then the least senior reserve will dip out im afraid.
 
116.xxx at monza last night in a public room lol was a good 10 lap race. Found a couple of fast Fgt racers. 1 Canada &1 USA racer! It would be cool to have 16 racers every race next season:) if I runfast I won't be last:) peace out y'all
 
Sweet laptime RF, I have done a 1.16.xxx somewhere with a small draft and if you think they are clean racers mention next season to them. I will be asking everyone if they are carrying on, some wont though so there will be a couple of reserves and some main spots to fill. I am hoping you kicked some ass?

Plus ive always preferred Button, perhaps because i live in his home town.
As for next season, when does it actually start? not too far after nurburg I hope, i may get withdrawal symptoms lol
 
PB- Ill try the tune later but with racing cars with every plus side there is a downside. Testing required!

Pagey- Next season starts the week after NB24, the chapionship will remain unbroken as long as I have a group of good dedicated drivers :) A week between races is already too long for me!

Flood- I will do my best, need to do some testing before tomorrows race anyway.

Anyway she is making Lasagne so she is already where she belongs :)

i will deffinatly come first. jokes. Erm i think pagey will win as to the rest i don't know iv been in hardly any of the practice sessions.
 
I am not going to do any predictions myself as I am tempting fate. I really want to win this race though as I am sure everybody does. Im also hoping the OCD updates soon with a decent FGT colour. Blue or green/yellow would do me.

I predict that I will win the race by a huge gigantic margin, and everyone will hail me as the second coming of Senna. As to who finishes behind me, who cares, I'm all about that win baby:lol:
No but seriously I think neth and pagey might zoom off at the start, might take Brett with them. I'll qualify good, but I'll do something stupid in the first few corners and fall back. Then while racing my way back I will realize that everyone is just as fast as me. So I'll fall in line behind runfast, etid, and Ellis and just watch them battle it out and pick them off as they make mistakes.

After pitting I will come out just behind runfast, and he will give me a great battle and magically put In his fastest laps of the
race. During our battle we will lose time and be caught by the rest of the pack and we will have an epic drafting battle all the way to the end. We will all finish within 2 seconds at the finish for a great phot finish:)

Now that's the race done, so on to the next one.:)

Wow, that was more exciting than a race report! Have you been at the coors light again buddy! I wish everyone wrote a report like that AFTER the race.
As long as there is some epic battles and everyone enjoys the race ill be happy. (a win would make me a little happier).
Good practice fellas, threw up some different podium possibilities :)

Has anybody gone through a race with no car damage?.I havent.
Pig predicts at least 1 car will hit the concrete blocks between the lezzmo's

No, last time I practiced on monday I crashed alot. I belive lots of people will crash, especially at the lessmos or going into Ascari.
 
I managed a 20 lap practice race without a crash on Monday but since then have been bouncing into the concrete at the first chicane (is this lessmos?). If you get a draft on the home straight you had better be early on those brakes!
