We are pleased to announce the new

FGTC-4 TIME TRIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

STANDINGS

Time Trial Championship Rules:
The fastest 2 out of the 3 existing, Pre-Qualifier-Time Trial sessions that we already are doing for Pre-Qualifying, will now also be averaged as 1 lap towards 2 new Time Trial Standings:

-THE DRIVERS TIME TRIAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

-THE CONSTRUCTORS TIME TRIAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

NOTE- These are the very same Time Trials that are being used for the Pre-Qualifier that determines which lobby we race in. However, now your very same Time Trials for Pre-Qualifying will mean much more.

Regular Pre-Qualifier Rules Remain the same. A drivers 1 fastest session out of the 3 allowed to post, is still the determining factor to which room to be racing in. Red, Yellow or Blue.

Although this new Time Trial Championship uses the very same sessions drivers use for Pre-Qualifier, they are still seperate stand alone championships in which no points are crossing over to the Drivers and Constructors Championships.

Points System is also similar to the Drivers Championship except it starts at 100. eg. 1st place will be awarded 100 points, 2nd 98, 3rd 96 and so on.

Why?
The major reason in adding these two new Championships is to make our league continue to grow. Our league is unusual in that the way it is constructed, more drivers are needed.

By instilling this feature we are immediately adding more drivers into the league. There are many drivers who aren't able to make it for our regular scheduled races on Saturday. Now, not only are these drivers able to join in on the fun, but the practice, tuning, and Time Trial Lobbies will hopefully have even more drivers in them, and we're hoping that this becomes contagious in attracting even more members.

Another benefit in doing this, is to have our existing members be more active in the league. Many drivers would post only 1 session for Pre-Qualifying and be admitted into the races. Now those very same members would need to post at least 1 more session in order to participate into the Time Trial Championships, and hence we will have more of the very same exposure we so need, in order to make our league grow.
Also, this also will hopefully get some of the exempt from Pre-Qualifying, Red Room eligible drivers to participate in these Time Trials as well :D.

I'm sure some of you may have questions, so please do not hesitate to message me or any of the other officers in the league.

For now, get your sessions in and don't forget. Your 2 fastest laps will be averaged as 1 lap for the Time Trial Championships, and Pre-Qualifier stays the same.

By signing up you agree to follow all rules and behavior in a suitable and friendly manner. Due to the high participation numbers, failure to do so may result in a driver being placed in lower lobby class. A general understanding of motorsport and driving standards is expected.

Pre - Qualifying Instructions
EVERYONE must do Pre - Qualifying (No Exceptions)

**IMPORTANT: ABS: PROHIBITED and Traction Control: PROHIBTED***
For both Pre - Qualifying and Race (ALL LOBBIES)

Pre - Qualifying
OPEN - Sunday MORNING (Day after Last Saturday Race)
CLOSE - Friday MIDNIGHT (Day before Next Saturday Race)

Example:
1. Sunday/Jan 1/ Pre - Qualifying Open (Morning)
2. Friday/Jan 6/ Pre - Qualifying Close (Midnight)
3. Saturday/Jan 7/ Race START (1:00 UTC)
4. Sunday/Jan 8/ Pre - Qualifying Open (Morning) - For next race

1 Pre - Qualifying Session REQUIRED

Driver will start in BACK OF LINE if 1 Pre - Qualifying Sessions not Posted.

Where to do Pre - Qualifying Session?
  1. Go to Club Room ID: 1054479 (GT6 Community)(In the game)
  2. Join Club
  3. Go to Club Page
  4. Click on "Events"
  5. Sign-Up to the "Open" Event
  6. Create a Room in the Event
  7. Practice and Start Time Trial.
  8. Do Trial by yourself or with others.
  9. Finish Trial and that is it.
  10. Your Time Trial will post up Automatically once you leave the room.

12 min Qualifying Session in Race.

Race:
One Tire Change Type in Race REQUIRED.

Example: Start with Soft then need to use Medium one time during race.

Point System
Driver Championship

Fastest Race Lap = 3 points

NOTE: Points are rewarded by putting together all lobby podiums together into one big podium list. If there are empty podiums in each lobby, drivers will be moved up into empty podiums to earn higher points.

Constructor(Team) Championship

Team member points are added together for each race.
Constructors(Teams) must be 6 drivers.
________________________________________________

Drivers who DO NOT FINISH RACE(example: disconnect) will receive full points for the last available place.

6 race results will be dropped.

Penalties
If drivers do not Private Message Complaints Stewards will NOT REVIEW.

Please Private Message: @potvinsuks , @DestenDeath2 , and @SWR_WeiTN for race complaints.

You have 24 hours after Race has Finished.

The steward panel will then review the decision and come to a decision, handing out penalties or reprimands if required.

Licence Points
If you receive the following points on your licence, you will receive the following:

3 Points - Start at the back of grid next race.
4 Points - Drive through penalty at the next race
5 Points - 25 point championship reduction
6 Points - Race Ban

Drivers may be penalized for both on and off track behaviour.

All rules are there for a reason. All drivers, including the host, do not receive special credit. Please read all rules before signing up. I was not aware of that rule is not a valid excuse.

Drivers who are AWOL will receive a warning, after this a reprimand. All drivers are expected to notify the host before the race whether they can race or not.

Drivers may run any livery car they wish.

Weaving in a straight line and divebombing is strictly forbidden. Please drive as cleanly as possible and with respect - The race is not won in the first corner.

Blue flag rule - Drivers who are about to be lapped may ghost their car if they wish, however all drivers are expected to allow the leaders through easily.

Track limits are defined by the white line. Drivers must keep 4 wheels inside the white line at all times. The kerb only (not astro/tarmac) will count as an extension of the white line, but your wheels must not pass on the other side of the kerb. If you go off track, lift off so you do not gain an advantage. Drivers who continually abuse track limits will be penalised.


Drivers must not chat during the race or enter another race lobby after their race has concluded.

Hey guys!

The actual first 3 race Pre-Qualy's along with their respective race room settings for practice, are up in Game Club Room now.

I will add 2 more Races to the Club room tonight to fill it out.

Although there is still approximately 12 days before race #1, we decided to open Pre-Qualifying for it early and give everyone 2 weeks to post sessions, since it may be a difficult and relatively unknown track for some drivers.

So, get your sessions in!

Pre-Qualifying for the 'SOUTH AFRICAN-GP' @ Cape Ring has now commenced!

IP was rocking a sub 1:52.00 in last nights practices. However, he's wicked fast at Cape, even for him :lol:.

I guess, I'd add 3 secs to his lap time as the going rate for your average fast lap time there ;)

Thanks Slowly! Yes everybody, regardless if they registered in prior seasons, still NEEDS to re-register for this season.

As far as teammates go, I believe everybody is in the process of grouping up with one another, and wouldn't doubt that it would take some time.
Once all of the teams are laid out and there are drivers left without teams, we will assign them and group up as teams for them.

Of course they are and we understand that not everyone can make every race. This is where an elongated series of 18 races along with 4 drop races come in handy :).

However, all that we ask, is that you first properly register either here or on our facebook page before posting any lap sessions in the Club please.

Yes Maxx's tunes are great and am happy to hear they are working out for you. He can also give good advice on other aspects of FGT Racing, and pretty much everyone here can help you on a hands on basis as well.

Although I'm the furthest person from being fastest. The one thing I can give you good advice on is, that with the FGT, practice, practice and a little more practice is your friend :). I know it sounds cliche, but with this car everything is faster and sensitive. So you just have to keep at it and let your racing instincts come naturally with it.

There will definitely be competitiveness for you, me and many others.
This league is unique, in that we have many members with multiple rooms running, which are divided primarily via drivers standings.

So don't worry Eric ;).

That's some of the faster numbers I've seen yet this week Arty.
If you're this fast coming out of the gates already, I got to believe you have room to shave off even a couple of seconds in 8 days time mate :).

With ABS1 and Traction control 0 I managed 1:55,3 and times are still dropping. Indeed practice is key...

Is it correct that only if you wish to qualify for the red group, all aids should be off?! I am struggling with ABS zero and that has a massive impact on my times...
