Only one of the best defenders in the premier league, it's surprising how cheap you can get him in the auction house for.
 
For all the guys playing career, The amount of insanely skilled computer generated players that appear a few years in is unbelievable. I recall someone mentioning this a page or so back. I'll have to list some later, And their attributes. Also two great young players to get early in career our Lorenzo Insigne from Napoli And Andre Carillo From Sporting Lisbon. These are real life players, I imagine they are well known but just incase any of you havnt heard of them before.

Yeah. He is solid when inside the box. He reflects, moves, and defends like no other. I really like him actually. The in form is really... In form.

As for why he is cheap... Players on FUT feel that pace is everything. So, no pace = cheap.

I like a more well rounded player. For instance, Demba Ba plays much better than a 82 rated card. His stats are off the charts too.

That is the downfall of Fifa, pace is difficult to defend against. I have 2 fairly slow strikers in Pazzini and Llorente, if I happen to be losing at half time bringing on a pacey striker seems a far to easy option to get me back in the game.

I like Fifa, but am I the only one that thinks the game is scripted? In other words if you are winning or drawing in the run up to full time the computer makes it very difficult to beat it by transforming a lower league team into Brazil/Barcelona. The amount of times I have lost games or had to settle for a draw is a joke. Even trying to get the ball off a very weak team can be hard.

It is absolutely insane how good some of the players I've scouted are. I got a German CB that is 16 and he's already rated a 71. Like seriously EA? I have like 10 players in my youth squad that are 85+ potential.

I seem to deal with pace pretty well. Just got to make sure that you can mark well.

As for Scripting. There is a reason why it has been banned from the EA forums. I think it definitely existed A LOT in FIFA 12. I've yet to see any real crazy stuff in FIFA 13 yet so, I won't complain about it yet. In FIFA 12 though... 0 goals yet 31 shots on target was the biggest BS I've ever gotten before.
 
There has to be an element of randomness, it would be boring if it was predictable and didn't reflect real life. Look at Celtic almost grabbing a draw the other day against Barca, despite having only 18% possession and Barca having 26 shots.

We all want to win, but predictability would make me put the game down (and stop watching football or any other sport), maybe in previous years the balance wasn't there, but sports match engines are hard to get "right" anyway.

I should make a longer season to check that out. It'd be awesome to see players like that really.

Insigne is in my Ultimate Team. Certainly can make an impact, usually switch between him and Luis Muriel, who are the same thing, just Insigne has very slightly lower stats.

Times when a single, part time working, cheap apartment rentals are good. You can spend your money on other things lol.

I wish I could Career'ing it. Mine just freezes all the time. Really annoying. I had just won BPL, Champions League, FA Cup and Capitol One Cup all in the same season. And was planning on making bids for Hulk, Kagawa, Ramos and Gotze for this season. Guess I'll have to wait until EA fixes the freezing problems. Although, I doubt they will.

Buy Bronze 400 packs and sell everything, what doesn't sell after a day or so quick sell. Buy more packs to top up as necessary. I do this throughout the day on my phone via the web app. My main cash comes from the ultimate team mode in the game, that is the only mode I mainly play.

I can give you my first gold squad if you like? Chemistry isn't high and some of the players arn't great either but I was going to sell it.

Problem with me is I spend all my cash at the 10k mark.. :(

I have plenty of stuff/cash, I'm just hesitant to spend it all because of how long it takes to make it back. Like I just bought Adam Johnson (instead of Valencia) for 3,800 and that's the most expensive thing I've bought.

Why does it pay more to win division 2 than 1?
 
If you mean offline it's because theres a gold pack as a division 1 prize. Online I'll know hopefully in an hour :dopey:
 
Woo, spent a whooping 45-minutes connected to the EA servers and then lost connection, at least I got to see my Ultimate Team! Made some changes my end which made a small difference, but nothing long lasting.

Nothing quite like designing a game so it's rendered useless in all but one game mode if there are net connection issues.

I was like that at first, but then I wanted better players and the risky gold packs makes buying them outright the only option. At least when you spend it, you can then have a goal of building up the funds ready for the next purchase!
 
CAM, this team cost me 6-7k and I swear it's unreal. Trust me on this.

I believe you. My EPL team consists of Mirallas, Kenwyne Jones, N'Zogbia, Scholes, Sessegnon, Johnson, Santon, Coloccini, Djourou, Azpilicueta, and Szczesny. But its only 66 rating. Is that because there's no bench?

Okay, now its 4.5 stars. That's better. I guess the consolation is that having 50k coins and two 4.5 star teams is more than 50k coins :lol:.
