I gotcha. I can only think that I would want Toure, Maicon, Hart, or Kompany other than him now.

Can anyone vouch for Aguero? I didn't know he had 93 acceleration.

I imagine Aguero would perform around the same as Suarez, because they both have high acceleration and lower sprint speed.

Can anyone vouch for IF Wilshere?
 
In most cases, only slightly. Suarez is definitely more fit toward being a CAM/CF(duh:dunce:), and Aguero is definitely your ST. I can imagine a 4-4-1-1 with those two right now.:drool:

I managed a pretty nice 4-4-1-1 formation, but I couldn't get Suarez in there.

2 beastly come back wins in D1. Came back against the pace rapiest Colombian team ever, minus Falcao, even though he's still faster than my defence. Went 2-0 down after a Falcao header and a pace rape goal by Muriel. Came back and won it 3-2 after two goals by Esswein and one by Adrian.

Won the second game after being 3-0 down. Esswein scored a cracking goal for the far corner of the box, which I could tell was scripted, considering the ball dove under the goal keeper's hand and came back up.:rolleyes: I then brought on Bale(who turns out to be a brilliant striker) and Walcott because I know my paceless strikers from my 10k budget team won't get it done. Bale immediately robs a ball off of a defender and scored a tap in to lower the gap to 3-1. Then, Walcott gets sent through and scores a one timer into the corner, and minutes later gets a header goal from a corner. So at this point I'm up 4-3, and feeling like I'm going to win. Wrong. Lampard scores in the 81st minute, and I'm running out of time. I send the ball down to Bale, who plays through to Walcott, who skills it up on the left side, and then I tramp the crap out of him with Gabi.:lol:

Bought my Serie A squad with the exception of Di Natale, hopefully he'll go just under 60k tonight. Buffon is only 30k more trading away too :drool:

Also, the AFCON Team Of the Tournament is up. So more pace abuse will flood the market, and MOTM cards will drop in price, which is good, because they're exceedingly expensive.
 
I just picked this up last night...
Gotta say it feels more fluid than 2012...I like the presentation and the graphics.
I like how now you have to "do something" with a purpose, while loading matches, instead of just free play.
Also like the fact that you can request transfer and you are getting transfer offers.
I started playing with Barnet (been doing this since 2007) and move up the ranks.
But my guy was not getting any connection with the team. I was completing my goals and requirements but was not feeling the whole connection.
After 5 matches I got an offer from Toulouse FC...made an impact first game and have gotten man of the match 3 times.

Still getting used to the menu, and all the info on the screen. Like the display on the bottom right hand corner, I have no idea what that is for :confused:
So, how do you turn off the annoying guy reading off the scores after every match?

Haven't explored any other features but happy so far with the changes EA has made!
 
Now I have got bored of offline FUT, I'm venturing online. What I want to know is when you're winning, why does the other person have to use his pauses up with 5 minutes left. No subs are made, no formation changes, just trying to annoy me, and my god does it annoy me.
 
People are annoying. I have more of a problem with people not advancing the opening cutscene and making me sit through five minutes of buildup.
 
I actually find those few and far between. Though I got totally FIFA'd earlier, I now need 2 wins from 4 games to stay in Div 1 (or I get relegated and get more money for going up than staying in the top league...).

I'm within sniffing distance of Rooney now, I'm also lining up Cech, Given just isn't cutting it.

It's a 1 overall increase over the 88 version, which I found was pretty sub par. He wasn't fast, his dribbling was also nothing special, and his heading was great except that he's too short to really be a great target man. I doubt a 1 overall increase will make such a difference.

Meanwhile, is there anything new with this update? Downloading it now.
 
I'm currently getting raped by a bunch of slow, bad-at-everything Russians, so no, nothing new.

I am really getting sick of getting 2,000 coins stolen from me in every final D2 game.

Thinking about swapping RVP for Yaya since I don't wanna buy two CAM>>CM cards. Unless someone else has a better CM suggestion?

Apparently I bought my RVP well, my cards don't normally sell first run through.

Scripting: when my tackles turn into through balls for the opposition and my keeper turns into a volleyball setter, lobbing a spike for the striker :lol:.

Yaya is a beast in the center CM position in a 4-3-2-1, he dominates the midfield with Wilshere and Fellaini next to him.
 
I can't decide between using him or having a midfield of Rooney, IF Lampard and David Silva.

Lampard would stay back I assume.

Got it! Rooney, Toure, and IF Wilshere. Had no idea the passing was so good.

Is he supposed to be good? Just position changed Rooney.
 
His normal card is good, he has a great shot despite what his shot stat says. And his IF version has 83 shot power and 81 long shots.:drool:
 
I know ASH has him, he can probably tell us. He just seems like a faster David Silva that saves 5 points on my rating.
 
I've never really considered David Silva. I've used him in Career mode when I managed Spain, but he was never really a stand out player.
 
I feel like three midfielders with high defensive rates can't go wrong, then Wilshere and Rooney would advance on the wings with high attacking while Toure stayed home.

I don't know how I don't give up more goals with my defenders workrates.
 
My defense doesn't have a single high defensive work rate, and they play fine when I play on defensive.
 
I play balanced.. :lol:

I may need to go back to ultra defensive.
 
I'll remember that. I just worry it'll draw Hazard and Walcott too far back.
 
Are you playing a 4-3-2-1? I wouldn't expect Hazard or Walcott to drop too far if they're playing LF/RF.
 
I am. They are outstanding, I bagged four in one game with Hazard.
 
I was thinking about Hazard, his work rates would make him better than Bale, but I don't know whether I should get him or not.

Nevermind, his work rates are the same, but he's a much less defensive player than Bale.
