Well I envy your money making skills then, Maybe next year I might get towards a million.

Best time to buy IF's is the Wednesday after their release right? Seems logical to me anyway.

I made a lot in the first few months of UT and I have given up now, if the game was better I would have bought and sold Ifs for easy money like I did last year. I had more money then even though most will have more this year because of seasons. Maybe next year's version will be better but I doubt it.:ouch:

Anyone have any recommendations for decent LB, RB and LM? This isn't ultimate team BTW, I'm on career. I thought about Rafael, he's not rated too highly on this game but a decent player none the less, better than Glen Johnson though?

LB:
- If you're early on, Jose Enrique is excellent. I had him in my CM and he was up to an 88 when I sold him (I keep no one over 30 ever :lol:). Good pace, good crossing, excellent tackling & positional defending. Very solid.
- As mentioned, Danilo is good. Lots of pace.
- David Alaba is also a good choice.

RB:
- Montoya
- Alex Sandro is ok
- If it's early yet, Lahm (plays either side).

LM:
- Kwadwo Asamoah (sp?) is epic. He is a 93 for me right now and still only 27. Not a traditional winger, but he can play there or as a CM/CAM/CDM. Extraordinarily versatile.
- Bale, obviously.
- Shaqiri can play LM, and he is very good too. 90 for me right now 👍 Bayern usually let him go for fairly cheap too.

It wouldn't bother me as much, if my players played the same way and the computer just improved. But to nerf mine and buff theirs is ridiculous. It prevents any ability to improve your team correctly, as one game they will be gelling well and the next game they will be playing like drunkards. there is no consistency, it's a shame as FIFA is so addictive.

I think that's the civilized version of how I feel. I will try to cut back on the rants, I honestly didn't realize how much I was doing it 👎.

For a right back, I use a free agent who I signed in the 2014/15 season, but before that I used Piszczek. He was alright, but nothing special. Walker is young, performs well, and has loads of pace, so I suggest you get him. For a LB I've used Jose Enrique, he can play LM as well, but I've never tried him there outside UT. If you want a good LM, look at some of the Positions a lot of CM's can play. Off the top of my head, I know of Coutinho and Gotze, and they can both play CAM/CM/RM/LM I believe. Nani is also a very good player for the LM/RM position, and if you sign him in the first season, you can get him for pretty cheap.

I am about to play a couple of games. All I want is for Ter Stegen to not bust out in a trendy break dancing maneuver when the ball is hit his way as Weidenfeller did :lol:.

4 goals, Ter Stegen has zero saves. All I want is one ounce of consistency.

Its just explicitly rigged. Marco Reus gets 5 one on ones and I tap circle and he kicks it into row ZZZ 5 times, while Darren Bent suddenly turns into Robin Van Persie.

Not going to rant, but I really would like to actually enjoy one fair game before, I don't know, June.

Not as bad as the other night. I'll give the Germans the weekend, and if EA doesn't shape up I'll pour my money into one team. This TOTW is really good.

Just made some bold moves as Chelsea Manager. Got rid of some great players but were sort of dead wood in Lampard, Cole, and Terry. Replaced them with some solid players but hopefully I can get some good players at the beginning of the next season.
 
Nice. Whenever I play Career Mode I just stock up on superstars and annihilate the opposition to blow off steam. On FIFA 11 (before I discovered UT) I had on my CM at Barcelona:

Cristiano---Messi---Robben
Iniesta-----Xavi-----Ibrahimovic
Jordi Alba-Pique-Puyol-Dani Alves

And that was only after one transfer window when I arrived at Barca. I think that was season 6 of my Career, I started at Port Vale, went up to Cardiff, Everton, Arsenal, Manchester United then to Spain.

If I do spend all my money on BPL players, should I go silver? All I can think of that I don't have gold-wise are IFs (which have disappointed me extremely) and Vidic. Need to ask ASH about those.

Vidic is good defender but if they get a run on you or lob it over the top you've got no chance because he's just too slow for UT. With the sort of money you'd be spending on him he just isn't worth it. The only way he works is as a central CB in a back 3 and if you are good at defending.

Agbonlahor is also overpriced, he's good but for some reason I get more from Jerome so he's way better value for me but I like playing them both together. If you are just going to play the silver tourney you don't always need pace either. What team are you going to make and are you going to use them in seasons or not?

I went for the cheaper version with my silver team. I play 343, with Bravo lw, Beckford/Emnes st and Zaha rw. It's a English,Argentine, Brazilian hybrid team. The defence are all Brazilian, the left are Argentine and the right English.

Zaha is good at RM, I can't imagine how good he'll be at RW. He does not score often from RM but when he does it's a good one.:)

Delfouneso is my best striker, he has a goal a game, he's well overpowered, Beckford and Emnes have nothing on him and yet are pretty good too.
I might convert Emnes to CAM though, him, Beckford and Delfouneso all in the same team.:drool: N'Gog is not bad either.
 
If I didn't already have a 4231 team I would use 4312 for BPL silvers, definitely the best form, the silver wingers are average and only having one striker is a waste when they are so many good ones.

Has anyone ever played Lissandro Lopez and held him scoreless? His name pisses me off.

I'd have put Delfouneso in too if I'd have known you didn't mind a Championship player in.:sly:

I have not used Mayuka but everyone raves about him. I would never take Diame, Diakite, Henderson, Jerome and the whole back five (same as the first team) out of my team which should say how much I rate them all.:)

Oh another interesting fact. Last two games, the opposition has had 3 red cards. I lost those two games 8-1 on aggregate. LOGIC.

I've had to turn on all the assists to stand a chance, that is what EA have caused. Got to the El Clasico final a couple of times now and me team is even worse then. Lost 1-0 twice, one time was because someone passed it around the back for the whole second half after getting a 45th minute special.:yuck:

I had two 4-4 games earlier too, La Liga defenders suck. I did win the shoot both times at least and I was 4-0 down in one match.:lol:

Where do I find these assists you speak of. I'm literally going down 4-0 of the first half in every game.

My keeper hasn't saved a one on one this week, I haven't scored a one on one this week. I don't know what EA has put in the water but I want it gone. Their strikers have also gained Thiago Silva-like dispossessing ability...

I got relegated, nothing changed, the amount of 45th/90th minute goals I'm conceding is stupid. I have to get 4 points out of 9 or I'll go down to division 3. With the assits I'll be back in division one soon, it's a shame I have to do this to combat the stupid high pressure I'm getting.

It's a bit better on my gtp account but there is still odd things happening.

The assists are in the game options, wireless controller settings or something like that, they might be on by default anyway I don't know, I had some on semi and even manual in the past but it's just handicapping myself and the game does that anyway. I'd prefer EA to rid the game of the fully assisted controls but they won't do it.:(
 
Changed them, still can't score. Maybe no one at EA went to business school. Cause I'm pretty sure a huge pillar of business thought is don't bite the hand that feeds you and its gnawing mine pretty hard this week.
