Ok, I gotta ask...


I just saw Xavi to a starting price of 198.000 coins....

How in the holy cow can someone pay that much for a single player?

And better yet, how to get that amount of coins?

You can either get lucky with a pack. Play way too much FIFA. Or, you can purchase coins. 200k is around $100 though.
 
Yet another crap pack.

Does anyone have Pepe Reina and can vouch that he is still good? I may drop Akinfeev and my slow Russian League center backs for him, David Luiz and another fast back. I need to stop giving up so many goals.

Is it too much to ask to not want to lose every game?

Seriously. This guy has a left winger in as his striker and still every ball rolls to him.

I paid $60 for this, I sort of wish that on occasion a ball would bounce off of a player to me. I mean I understand they're going for unpredictability, but its getting pretty predictable that every chance the computer gets to shuffle a ball to the other guy it will.

I still ahven't played a match in Division 1 :lol: Maybe tomorrow.

Also, does it match you against somebody from your own division or is it in someway random as in from the 3 nearest divisions? Or does anyone know?
 
Just got Yaya Toure in a pack. I believe he sells in the 50K range. Although, I'll probably keep him for my British Premier League team.
 
Division 1 is ungodly difficult, so I'd guess just division one. And lucky duck.

I've spent 80 bucks on packs and have only gotten

- IF Coloccini
- Higuain
- Pigue
- Toure
- Cazorla
- And maybe a few others that have gotten me little to no coins.

I feel like I've wasted so much money. Now that I think of it. I am having fun with the trading and building an epic team.

I should mention that all of the money I have put into packs are not my person money. It is all money I have made off of a few of my youtube channels and partnerships. So no, I'm not spending my hard earned cash. I make Youtube videos for fun and getting money for it is a bonus that I feel like I should put back into my gaming.

Has anyone here got a decent player via coins? My most noticeable player was Javier Mascherano. Sold him for 19k. The rest are not with mentioning. I would have been better off saving up and buying single players, then spending 60k of coins to get rubbish.

Yeah, it seems like the only way to get decent players from packs is from hard cash. I feel like they rip people off that buy them with coins. Personally, I think that it is cheaper to buy 100,000 coins for $25 than by buying $25 worth of packs. Just a tip for people.
 
I haven't resorted to paying real money. I certainly wont if you aren't guaranteed a decent player in each pack.

John Terry was the only decent player I got, being a Chelsea fan happy with that though.

That is all I have had, I haven't even had any bonus coins from packs and it's put me off playing for a while :grumpy:

I was thinking of selling JT so I could maybe buy cheaper players and then try and sell them to make a profit, JT seems to be selling for others for around 14-16 thousand coins.

A Chelsea fan and no Chelsea players?

I would get rid of one of those Madrid midfielders and have Mata there everytime, what a player he has been over the last couple of seasons (rated best player last season) :)

There will be a lot of interest from other European clubs for Mata in January..... NOT FOR SALE at any price :D

Just realized there was a happy hour where jumbo gold packs were being sold, 15000 cons per pack is a lot though, there must of been loads of goodies in those packs that I have missed out on :ouch:

Twice the amount of gold cards for twice the price!

With allegedly a slightly (000000.1%) higher chance of getting better players.

Excellent news :D Yaya Toure is mine, my Ivory Coast first team is complete, got him for a relatively cheap 53.5k. Playing with this with added midfield depth will be fun ... for me :sly:

Diego Alves, is good for trading with. That's how I made my last 5k or so.

Where did you find the money to make this team? Got something decent in a pack? Bought a bunch using PSN cards? That team is brilliant, but might I recommend Jordi Alba for LB, and Dani Alvez as RB? I had a Valdes breifly in FIFA 12, and he was absolute rubbish, is he any better now?

It's actually not luck, there are a lot of them on the market at any given time. A normal search of max buy now price of 200 will not show all of the results. There's a bit of a bug in the search engine, where if you fiddle around with the max starting price, it will show you more contracts going for 200 buy now. Also works with Fitness. I got to having the teams I have now by doing nothing but buying contracts for 200 and selling them for 250 with 300 buy now, or more sometimes. It's a very consistent and assured way of making a profit, but not really a quick way to get wealthy.
