Has anyone else tried the new UT cup, you need a Burkino Faso and South Africa player in your starting 11. It's easy and awards you 4k for winning it.
 
Gerrard doesn't lack defending, his workrates are High/High so it may take him a bit to get back.
 
+1 on Ashley Young for a LM.

Decided to ditch the idea of Remy, whilst he did great for me, he's going to have not much chemistry and I've only one french midfielder (Cabaye, who is a backup) and no other QPR players, I'm aiming for Rooney, what with Valencia and Young on the wings, partnering Defoe, who is very reliable for me.

How do you guys share your teams from the web app? I've tried to stick the URL in an image and it no worky.
 
Same. And Rooney is worth every coin. He gets muscled off the ball some but he's so dangerous.

Just bought FIFA 12 for my phone. If only FUT was that easy :lol:.

When I use him he's good when the rest of team is bad and when they are good he isn't in the game much, strange. I don't reckon he's scored in any games I've won with them. Might be because he's a CAM in 352 and I've never done much with them in this formation.

Might sell the team apart from a couple of players to get Ronaldo just to say I've used him.:sly: Won't make much difference though since players play bad when they feel like it on this game, no wonder so many people just use pacey players and L1 + Triangle, as when you try to play properly your players don't move, have bad touches and pass completely the wrong way.:ouch:
 
Oh yeah, the passing is atrocious. And I've won plenty of games where Rooney has scored multiple times.

As did I when I had him and his IF as a CF in 4231, just not with this CAM version in 352 for whatever reason.
 
I notice the passing being horrific more in clubs than I do in single-player. It's the first touches in clubs that are a bit dumbfounding.

Right, so only need to double what I've got to get Rooney! Don't particularly want to sell players, but may do so with Jesus Navas, as I don't have a La Liga team and I don't mix squads any more (which seems to be paying off).

I did. it was a while ago now though, he was good but not worth the extra over the normal version, as is the case with most IFs to be fair.

I'm going to sell my IF Walcott if a change from CAM to CF does not get him more involved in the game because he's a waste of money at CAM when Mata, Cazorla or Nasri can do just as much, definitely selling my IF Evra too because he's worth over 145k now and that's way too much for a LB, the 110k that I paid was too much, never mind this, he could easily get a UP too.

EA have said they'll be out mid february, whatever that means exactly.

CAM, you could put Clichy at LB, Kaboul at CB for Vermaelen, and for RVP, you could use someone with a medium defensive work rate, but he should do fine regardless.

La Liga is something that is fun to think about, but I'm scared of the scripting.

Yes I've used both but not enough really, neither has done much for me either so if you are short on coins they probably are not worth it but you should buy one anyway just to use players that hardly anyone does.

How many times have you all seen Ronaldo or Messi? I faced them both together once and another one time each, that's it.
 
It's not a La Liga team if you don't play Busquets in goal.:sly:

I've never seen either. The most expensive player I've seen was probably IF David Luiz.

Never, the highest rated team I've seen is 88, and the highest player is Xavi.

Just luck (or lack of it) I guess.
 
I've played a really expensive team with Messi, Ronaldo, TOTY Iniesta, and IF Di Maria, and then seen Ronaldo by himself once.

But if you've played ~600 games in the top flight, you're bound to eventually.

Yes that's the thing, they are too rare although their price probably does not help that. I've rarely seen Ibra, Ribery, Robben, etc either. I'm sure more people could use them but are chosing to use the cheap pacey players, which says a lot about the game really and it's a shame and you can bet that when someone actually does have an 84+ rated player it'll be Balotelli.
 
I was that guy with Balotelli.:p It could be Gerrard, I see him a lot as well. And I decided I might as well go with Bale as he seems to be a less defensive IF Jose Enrique.

And yeah, like I could afford that La Liga team but I'll get my tail whipped so what's the use.

The Milan version isn't even necessary since he's Italian and will link with most players from Milan already. I don't get why it's so important to have a nice logo. And Juan Mata is another fairly common 84+ player as well.

True but that didn't stop people paying 80k+ when he came out.:lol: Also he scored twice today and won them the match so loads more people will now want the Milan version and he could even get an IF.
