I guess I'm the only guy that likes slow, high rated players in the middle?

True but that didn't stop people paying 80k+ when he came out.:lol: Also he scored twice today and won them the match so loads more people will now want the Milan version and he could even get an IF.

Yeah, that morning when he came out was crazy, he dropped 5k in an hour :crazy: though the BPL one will be cheaper now, just to scare us all even more.

I like them, but this game rewards pace over ratings, so it's not really worth it.

EDIT: You were right Ash, EA just tweeted about IF Balotelli, good call.

Probably, I've never seen IF Lampard, although I have one that I have not even used and it's not often I see Rooney or RVP either.

At least the amount of people using Welliton has gone down, still see the same players too much though.
 
I like low pace center mid fielders when they have good shooting and good passing, or are surrounded by other players who have pace.

Sturridge has been a pleasant surprise for me. My favorite thing about a Rooney-RVP-Gerrard midfield is that the slower buildup allows the pace guys to advance, although I only really utilize Sturridge.
 
Sturridge is a monster on the counter attack and on through balls, and if he's infront of goal, he is going to score the majority of the time.
 
I can easily see how he would suck really bad out wide though :lol:.
 
I plumped for one of those Jumbo packs, 24 cards, got a chance of squad fitness at least, er, no, best value was Jonathan from Inter Milan who is worth 800. I don't mind not getting the really good players in packs, but they should make it so that it is at least close to breaking even on the cost. I'm not even going to bother working out how much that bag of spanners will cost me, I'll just do some online league and go lalalalalalalalalalala.

Anyway, Ashley Young just drilled in a left footer from the edge of the box in my 9th game to give me the win that secures my div 1 status for another year.
 
I had a 4-5-1 Bundesliga team once, and it felt awful. It pretty much allows players in every position, which might be nice for the people who want to have CAMs and wingers, but it felt far too jumbled and not open enough. I thought it would be the equivalent of a 4-2-3-1 with LMs and RMs, but it was anything but.

I'm using a Bundesliga team now, with Neuer, Hummels, Subotic/Santana, Pisczech, Alaba, Gundogan, Felipe Santana/Sahin, Reus, Muller, Gotze and Lewandowski/Mandzukic. It's pretty good, Reus is superhuman, and I at least have fast CAMs in a 4-2-3-1. Only problem is that Neuer let's in too many of the silly FIFA 13 goals for me, as he costed me about 55k.

I use the 4-5-1 because I hated how in most formations, the CAM's were played out wide, such as a 4-2-2-2. I love running with 2 CAM's also, because it gives me more attacking options, and all of the formations I like only have 1 or none. I really don't feel like using a CAM->CM card since converted CAM's are generally useless on defense.
 
I have made almost 15k today on the bronze 400 coin method! I had a run of squad fitness cards as well as player fitness cards and a Gary Mcsheffrey.
 
Well it seems the servers are down, again. I've nearly got enough for Ronaldo now when I sell Neymar, Ronaldo will replace him, I'll have enough if I sell IF Walcott too but I might wait a week or so to see if he drops a touch once he's back in packs, unless I get one cheap but there is not much chance of that.

I need an Ozil too, to make Ronaldo have decent chem, I only sold him last week.:lol:
 
Are the servers down, or is it the web app? I'm listing up some contracts on my phone, but can't get on the web app, so I would assume it's just that.
 
Emenike and Pitropia are in the MotM. How convient for EA that they have 90 plus pace. It's almost like they do it on purpose.

They came back up not long after I posted, then went down again around when you tried to go on and now they are down for maintenance for four hours. Funny how there were no problems or maintenance during TOTY.

No but if it can work for a week without any scheduled or any unscheduled maintenance, why does it go down so much every other week. It goes down so much, except when the server load would be at it's highest, does not make much sense.
 
Maybe they need to take it down to remove users, particularly if said users have trades on the go?
 
Since nobody has posted for nearly 13 hours, I just wanted to pop in and say I'm over 140k pure coins. Hopefully I'll hit the 160k target soon.:)

I'm up to 75k, steadily building and waiting for the upgrades. My only concern is my La Liga team, they if anyone may face a little improvement.
 
I don't know whether to sell Navas now or hold him, he's worth about 8k seemingly now, about 3k less than what I paid for him. I assume he'll be worth less after upgrades?

Finished maxing out my contract bonus yesterday and I picked up a 300 coin bonus in a bronze pack just now.
 
I got 2,000 coins in a pre order pack last week.

I also had one 750 coin pack with a 500 coin bonus and a free pack inside.

I guess its fitting post #5,000 comes where I post most :lol:.

I've decided to sell IF Walcott, he's way overpriced. So once he's gone I can get Ronaldo, not that he's not overpriced, even more so infact.:lol:

Navas went for 9k on my first auction, now I'm thinking I could have got more, even though research suggested not.
 
The H2H Winter Update has come in. And there's quite a lot that's been done.

Probably my favourite move by them was the upping of Isco to 82 overall and 4*. That was what he certainly deserved :D

A fair few of the Brasilver 5*s have fallen, only one man has actually been promoted to 5* and he isn't in UT. Obviously there's been a fair few other up-n-downs in the skill level department too, even a couple of new guys all together.

Also is this man the best new youth player in the game? Not even FIFA 11 Jese looked quite as good as this guy does.
 
El Shaarawy jumped 6 points to 82! :eek:

They have indeed changed quite a bit, though will be interesting to see if the FUT winter update reflects some of the drastic changes made.

In my FIFA news, up to 123k, 83k made this week (including selling Falcao).
