I'm about 10K off of IF Busquets. Going to have to wait until I return from my trip to northern Japan to get him I think. I don't really feel like selling Xabi Alonso yet because I really like him lol.
 
Just won a 6-5 game. The game is fun when two teams with three backs play ultra attacking.

Can't really think of anything I want other than Neymar so I guess that's what I'll gun for. Which sucks cause Robinho is the boss.
 
So, I had the coins to buy Buffon ... but then a tasty IF Aurier came up, and I changed my mind :lol:

Also found a way of artificially clearing the trade pile on the web app :D

It's quite simple really, and I think I've accidentally done it before without noticing. Just go to the trade pile, click on a green expired item, so it comes up out of the list and gets highlighted. Then just click on watch list or any other tab, when you go back, the item is gone!

Wish I had found this 6 months ago.
 
It's easy to clear the trade pile on the web app, just click on every item and then go off it and back on. Infact did I not post this in this thread before, I sure meant too at one point anyway.:lol:
 
You might of posted it, I don't remember seeing it at any point. This is obviously how you have so many coins, whilst we don't, secret advantage :sly:

Looks like the price of IF Busquets went up by 10K in 2 days. Seriously? Now I have to save up even more freaking coins lol.

He starts off at ~10 million, so quite good, and levels up pretty quick. Nice to play with, won't run away from the defence but has a great shot. Worth buying I reckon.

Might have to do that. I tried to pick up Neymar again like I did in my first career mode but, Santos wouldn't let him go as cheap as the first time.

I am currently trying to take Wimbledon to the Prem on my Vita. 2nd in League 2 right now. A really long journey to come lol. I'd really like to grab Piazon next season so I have a killer left midfielder in the future.
 
El Shaarawy is killer in the CAM slot in a modified 3-5-2 I made. He doesn't have the pace, but I play him behind Sterling and Neymar (Who both have ~98 acceleration and ~96 sprint speed), so he doesn't need to be fast. But if you get him out in the open, he's going to score.
 
Words cannot describe my feelings toward EA.

So I need two wins to win D1. Four games left. Game 1, I lose 8-0 on eight headers. Game 2, I'm up 6-0 in the 90' and EA disconnects me. I'm tempted to leave the controller and go eat for the last two.
 
No, I'm playing a game created by EA Sports.

My CBs were Kaboul and Vermaelen and the strikers were Aubameyang and Remy.

It could have been 3 squad fitnesses :sly:

Ooh, just give EA your wallet, then the results will skyrocket :dopey:

Though I have won the Silver cup twice with that team, from 3 attempts.
 
Kaboul is pretty useless in the air for me. IF Skrtel is the one that normally steps up and takes the headers.

And if you want to win every time, go for a non-rare BPL side. Cisse always manages to beat me...
 
I got from 15k to 80k and 7 pages of contracts, so I'm pleased.

Kaboul is my MVP when it comes to headers...

So predictable. I get my record to even, and EA proceeds to disconnect me three times and make me lose to a 2,000 coin sweat team. And I just got a new 100+ Mbps router so its an EA problem.

4 D1 games, 4 wins. I have 12 points now, my guess is I'll get up to 16 over the next 6 games if I get very lucky.

Game 5: 78 rated, 81 chem. Not looking good.

Yeah but its not money I made trading. So it doesn't hype me up as much. I'll log the rest of this season.

Game 5, continued: His players all have 0 fitness, so 5-0 at halftime. Patiently awaiting the customary EA disconnect.

He stopped playing, so I held the ball trying to do a rain dance of sorts to keep the servers from crashing. Maicon is a good PK taker.

15 points with 5 to go, its about to get ugly quick.

Game 6: 83 rated 4-1-2-1-2 with Silva, Bale and Aguero.

1-0 at the half, Reina decided to charge without me telling him to. Doesn't bode well for momentum.

And so the scripted slide down the slippery slope begins (hope you enjoyed my alliteration). 2-1 loss with my players deciding running after strikers just isn't fun and EA rolling rebounds straight to said strikers. Outlook is grim.

Game 7: 82 rated with Pato and Lucas up front, Dede and Lucio in back. Looks like EA trying to keep the anti-CAM momentum in swing.

1-1 at the break, plenty of chances where a deity replaced Artur Moraes in goal. Collapse ahead.

Finished 2-2. My go ahead goal was a scripting-less, beautiful one-two and his equalizer was a back pass that Julio Cesar decided to let pass into the net. I feel like a fortune teller, I can accurately predict FIFA future 100% of the time. More scripting hilarity to come in Games 8 and 9, the only reason 10 will occur is so EA can put me up against Aubameyang and Remy again.

Game 8: 86 rated 4-1-2-1-2 with Falcao, Benzema and Di Maria.

1-1 again at the break. Expect a comedic post game report.

And I win 3-1. Lesson to be learned. If you use an 86 rated team, EA hates you more than someone about to take money from them. Need two draws or a win, but fully expecting two losses. And we trudge on...

Game 9: Fast Black Men FC is the guys PSN. 77 rated. I will now look onto Game 10.

0-0 at the break. Only thing going through my head is the theme song of the "Not Top 10" from SportsCenter.

Annnnnd WEEE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, MY FRIENDS. I will concede, EA put me up against Valdes in the game against the 86 rated squad and put me in position for the final win. The last game was 2-0, but 1-0 for the entire second half till the end. Then Rooney sends a screamer into his favorite top right corner for his most important goal. Hurrah!

And so concludes my trek through D1, hope it was a good read. I will again be in title contention around June.

Somebody said they were trying it out to see if it can compare to the single games that were in past FUT's. Why can't they just add single game lol. It doesn't seem that hard.

I played it once on friday thinking maybe they would be a touch less sweat, I was wrong. I used my England team, complete with Terry and Ferdinand in defence.

First game was against a less than 40 chem bronze team, my players' passing was awful and yet EA say handicap isn't in the game.:lol: Only won because he had a bronze GK and they are mainly rubbish so I took some long shots with Rooney and Gerrard. 3-0 to me.:)

Next game was against the usual Serie A players, Pato, Ogbonna, Palacio, Abate and the rest. I played defensive and all he did was L1 + Triangle but I knew he'd do it and kept putting one of my CBs way back and he kept feeding me the ball.:lol: Eventually created a couple of easy chances, 2-0 to me.:)

Semi final now and almost the same team as last time with just a few changes. This guy didn't try L1 + Triangle that much, he just kept trying to run past my players all game, so it was defensive time again and I kept the ball in midfield for quite a while and created quite a few chances, 3-0 to me.:)

Into the final and I face a Brazil team with Neymar, Pato, Hulk, Lucas, Ramires, Dede, Santana, Luiz and the rest of the usual players, defensive time again ever though it was getting boring by now. He did try to play properly a bit when he had the ball but was one of those players that use high pressure and it can be tough to keep the ball against and that was hurting me. I scored first with Scott Parker but he scored soon after when my keeper made his only mistake in three games and he had an easy rebound goal. 1-1 at half time, second half I struggled to break him down and create many chances at all but sometime around the 85th minute I smashed a ground cross accross the box, which was tapped in at the back post, by Scott Parker once again, I've no idea what he was doing there.:crazy: Final score 2-1 to me and I bet he loved how Parker beat his Brazil Pace team.:sly:

Since it was the no coin cup though all I got was the cup, not really worth the effort and I won't be playing it again.:yuck:
